  1. QUOTE(knightni @ Jul 21, 2005 -> 03:08 PM) New one http://www.mustangmods.com/data/5495/oldcomiskey.jpg IN COLOR! AWESOME!!!
  2. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Jul 21, 2005 -> 03:06 PM) I still think Jason Schmidt is a better option. But picking up AJ and Lowell would benefit us in so many different ways. We would have a stronger rotation, and would have a better bench as well. With the big asssumption being that either Crede or Lowell could adjust to being a bench player, and that AJ pitches better than the combination of both Marte and Contreras.

  4. QUOTE(DePloderer @ Jul 21, 2005 -> 02:55 PM) NOT if your English. As I most obviously am. If you need it spelt 'merican there's a version of the previous one for you.
  5. QUOTE(The Critic @ Jul 21, 2005 -> 02:47 PM) I don't shake hands with anyone at my work cuz I see guys piss and then walk out without washing their hands......don't worry, I don't work in foodservice.... Then why did you take my order at White Castle last night???[/color]

QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Jul 21, 2005 -> 02:30 PM) That's like 8th grade, he's not a little kid. I was like 5 foot 9 at 12 years old. I think the height requirements are tougher there too. Anyway, kick ass place. What's the other huge park in Ohio? Kings Island outside of Cincy
  7. QUOTE(knightni @ Jul 21, 2005 -> 02:29 PM) Is this better? http://www.mustangmods.com/data/5495/oldcomisk1.jpg Actually for me, I would think it was much cooler if the backround was the original color, and the players had like hint of the color of their jersies. Does that make sense? Anyway like I said, it is excellent work, and that is just my personal taste... it doesn't take away from the quality work as usual brave sir knight
  8. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Jul 21, 2005 -> 02:27 PM) Kenny's holding his hand right now, he knows what he's willing to give up and it appears the Marlins are about to get desperate and if that happens I wouldn't be surprised at all if AJ winds up on the Sox. Exactly. He isn't in a position where he needs to "overpay" like many said he did last year for Garcia. If someone else wants to offer them more fine, if not and the price comes back, fine. Either way the Sox are in the drivers seat.
  9. I work with the nastiest MFers ever. We have two urinals and a permanent lake underneath them. There is a divider in the middle of the urinals, and I watched one guy lean back onto the divider and aim from literally about 3 feet away to piss. I was ready to piss on the back of his leg, I was so mad.
  10. I know it is supposed to be, but it is way to gray for my tastes, FWIW. I like the style and design though.
  11. QUOTE(ChiSoxyGirl @ Jul 21, 2005 -> 01:35 PM) I think San Diego only wears camiflouge because of the naval base near there--so I would be pretty shocked if the Sox got them. And when I first read that post I thought he was talking about these camis. And I was very confused. Can you imagine how sexy Frank Thomas would look in one of those? Meow.
  12. QUOTE(Buehrle>Wood @ Jul 21, 2005 -> 01:17 PM) Why did he get banned? For having 15 different screen names, and posting under some of them while suspended.
  13. QUOTE(T R U @ Jul 21, 2005 -> 12:38 PM) I would like my name to be changed to Von Doom, thank you very much How about Jimenez4MVP?
  14. QUOTE(kapkomet @ Jul 21, 2005 -> 12:21 PM) It is a good thing, in the long run, but people are going to get their nuts squashed in the short term. [turns on wayback machine] But in the long run, we are all dead
  15. QUOTE(nitetrain8601 @ Jul 21, 2005 -> 11:43 AM) He seemed to excel in the 2 slot last year. He hit for a high average, that doesn't mean he excelled. We also didn't have a lead off hitter would could get on about 40% of the time, and stealing a base every other game. He would not get the job done.

QUOTE(Steff @ Jul 21, 2005 -> 11:33 AM) We're going mainly for the rides. I have a pool at home I can swim in without wait.. LOL. Already pre-peed in
  17. I am going to play the devils advocate and say that increasing the monthly payments is a good thing. The sooner people pay these things off the better. If anything all that will do is cut into the bottom lines of credit card companies, as they can't make the compounding interest off of the poorer card holders that they used to be able to do.
  18. Aaron Rowand is not a 2 hitter. He can't bunt, and he doesn't have a swing to move runners over. He also doesn't hit well down in the count, and doesn't have the patience to take as many pitches as you need with Pods on base. Rowand in the two hole is not a good idea.
  19. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Jul 21, 2005 -> 10:10 AM) Franks isnt to bad. Plus he doesnt have enough AB's to make it a blood bath. Now Crede and AJ on the other had. When you look at it you have dueling blood baths. We have way to many pull hitters on our team when you look at these charts. Hence why they have such low BAs. I'd be curious to see Franks hitting chart.
  20. QUOTE(RibbieRubarb @ Jul 21, 2005 -> 08:52 AM) Could someone change my title from "September call-up" to "Resident Plushie" Thanks! With pleasure
  21. QUOTE(OilCan @ Jul 21, 2005 -> 09:50 AM) Wow. Good list guys! I luv to see the next 10!!! If Valido is #12 in your book, then the top 10 is getting to be interesting. 1-10 is posted on the Pale Hose Talk board... it is pinned up top.
  22. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Jul 21, 2005 -> 10:01 AM) The amazing blood bath chart. Have you got one for Frank?
  23. QUOTE(Steff @ Jul 21, 2005 -> 09:56 AM) "lately"...?? The hitting chart posted yesterday shows most of his hits this season are directly to the third baseman. For further reference...
  24. QUOTE(Ozzie Montana @ Jul 21, 2005 -> 09:51 AM) I agree. He is too streaky and lately he has been pulling everything to the third baseman. He seems to be struggling in the clutch. With runners on he is batting .242 / with RISP he's batting .227 / and with RISP with 2 outs has plummeted to .143 J. Dye's stats are almost identical to Paulie's. Everett is the solution but he doesnt play every day>>> runner on .342 / RISP .311 / RISP with 2 outs .360. If Ozzie could find him more playing time and leave Frank on the bench more, Everett would fit in the number 4 spot. Everett is second on the team in rbi's with limited playing time. Add to that Frank's worse stats in the same situations, and you have a blackhole in the middle of the line up.
  25. QUOTE(Queen Prawn @ Jul 21, 2005 -> 09:42 AM) Ozzie really needs to put Konerko down in the lineup. He is a terrible #4 hitter. The whole middle of the line up is terrible right now. Especially with Carl on the bench lately, we don't get many big hits out of those guys.
