Actually the thing that blew my mind was the time. A 9.6 mile climb took almost 40 minutes. A world class marathoner can run about that far in 40 min. That gives perspective on how hard that ride was today.

Actually the fact that he is a lefty is why he hasn't been closing. he is too valuable to the Sox been to be tied to just the 9th inning. He gets used anywhere from the 6th to the 9th when needed to get out key lefties. You can't say the same about Shingo.
