Nice play by Crisp to prevent a gapper, but Carlos tags and scores and it is 3-0 White Sox with two outs in the top of the 1st. Indians are throwing some leather early, and the Sox are really hitting the ball HARD against Cliff Lee. This could easily have been a blowout early.

Watching the replay, Gerut actually overdived the play by a few inches and it hit his mitt in the palm, thats why the ball popped out. Hell of a play to get to the ball though.

Gerut made a great diving effort but it popped out of his mitt at the last second. maggs scores, Los to 3rd and Carl gets a single. 2-0 Sox, still only one out.
