  2. Lets hear it for Miss Austrailia
  3. Tampa goes up 5-4 on a Rocco Baldelli 3 run HR. It is now the 5th inning.
  4. With the way outsourcing goes now, I am surprised you didn't get the call from India.
  5. I know that was the blunt of your message, and that is why I didn't say anything to it. Just the last couple lines made it sound like the Sox don't give back, when in fact they do far more than any other professional team in town. That was all I wanted to address.
  6. That noise was you getting crossed off a donor list
  7. Tex is a red x? Damn I always envisioned him as some sort of hermited lunatic. Shows what I know.
  8. There is even an alternative theory to oil being a fossil fuel. Having no scientific backround whatsoever, I have no idea of its validity, but it was an interesting read The Abiotic Theory of Oil Formation
  9. Known Oil Reserves increasing? Take a read at this.
  10. 101.9 mph- Nolan Ryan. There are stories about Wagner, I think, hitting 103 mph, but it was on a quick gun. I have never heard anyone "officially" topping Nolan.
  11. Anyone know why the site was down, and if it is fixed now???
  12. Charity is one aspect that the White Sox do very, very well in. They have given millions of dollars, and then some to the local communities. They have rebuilt countless baseball field in the Chicagoland area, the Sox wives do a big food drive every year etc. JR might have a lot of faults, but giving back to Chicago isn't one of them.
  13. The scientific community has been steadily wrong on this one too. In the late 70's when I was in elementary school they were teaching that we would run out of oil by the 21st century. Today we have more known reserves, than we did in 1980. Don't believe everything you read.
  14. And if you take just that part out of context, it does sound bad. Like I said, Hawk went on to say that he has been in the business of baseball professionally for 45 years, and still doesn't know anything about the game. He was speaking more more to the vastness, and uniqueness to the game.
  15. So much for the Sox ending up on the Score
  16. Give us some highlights for people stuck at work!!!!
  17. Koch, long time no see, welcome back!
  18. The end of that with Mark Cuban was a perfect ending, and a great example of what he was talking about the whole time.
  19. What is right behind there? Is that the player parking, or the open walkway?
  20. I heard she has a big butt.
  21. Based on 3 appearences? Wow, that is a quick annointment of giving up on someone too quick. See also Josh Fogg for an example of speaking too soon.
  22. That is pretty much how I took it too. They were talking about how with almost 70 years of baseball experience between them, they are still seeing things that they have never seen before. IMO you making a mountian out of nothing here B.
  23. In honor of the superfans. Plus the current year. I will retire the year if we ever win the world series.
  24. Colonial. I heard the first pitch on the radio. I would have rushed home if I would have known in advance who was throwing out the first pitch. I hope everyone cheered like mad for the guy.
