I could see a Konerko/Weaver deal happening unfortunately Weaver wouldn't be a bad guy to take a chance on. He's talented, just not made for New York. I much more likely see them signing a guy like Vina to play 2nd and hit leadoff. I doubt that they will use Patterson as a CF. But the theme remains the same, Lofton is gone.
