I could see a Konerko/Weaver deal happening unfortunately Weaver wouldn't be a bad guy to take a chance on. He's talented, just not made for New York. He put together some good pitching in Detroit when he was there. Jeff Weaver is an asshole and a mental case. This I know from a player on the Tigers. I much more likely see them signing a guy like Vina to play 2nd and hit leadoff. I doubt that they will use Patterson as a CF. But the theme remains the same, Lofton is gone.

Putting my personal feelings aside for the parties involved, my big complaint is that Jeb Bush needs to stay the hell out of the case. Checks and Balances would dictate that this is a case for the courts, and the courts decided in favor of the husband.
