I'd say Rick White, if he was till here. Now he is vital to the Cubs and Cardinals chances at winning the central, instead of Minnesota and KC's chances of winning the AL Central.
Billy Koch without a doubt. He has blown more momentum this year. Konerko is a close second, but at least has been hot for a while. Wright wasn't key enough to this season to be considered the worst, IMO.
Like I said before Damn, I wish KC had traded for him. I knew he was going to get hurt, just like he always does.

this was interesting from ESPN. I would be willing to guess that the total amount of the contract Beltran ACTUALLY gets is less than half of that $144 mil figure.
Good move for them. Also nice to see Homer Drew come out of retirement to take over Valpo again. They are a classy family.

No it means they were placed on waivers. I guess just about every player gets placed on waivers, some are placed there to mask others who they are trying to hide.
