We don't have the time to turn Ginter into a starter even if we wanted to. It takes at least 5-6 starts to stretch out a guy used to closing, to be able to pitch enough innings to start.

Barring a team getting really desparate to dump a player at the deadline, I really think that Dan Wright will be back up here as the fifth starter, espesially if he keeps putting up respectible #'s at Charlotte.

Thanks DM, I was reading the responses, and was thinking the samething. But let me put it into Roman terms. Look at what Frank is doing now, and not what he did in April and May. Just because he hit like s*** then, doesn't mean he isn't hot now. And right now, the Sox are scoring runs by the boatload.

Honestly cw, I do understand you being upset, but the proplem is when someone reacts like this it gives the words power. I really believe that the more offended we get at words used for racism, sexism, and any of the other offending isms that exsist, we take the power out of our own hands and give it to those would hurt us. Not many people think like I do though, and I don't expect them to, but give it some thought. But as to the central issue of your post, I do agree that for the masses and the good of the site, there should be a cut and dry policy with consequences for offending behavior involving the offending "isms". If we allow posters to use derogatory slang in just about any way shape or for we open the door to hate. I would say that offenders of sex, religion, race, or anything of the like should serve a short banishment with an explanation sent to that person as to why they were locked out. The second time they should be done, IMO.

It could have a negative effect on the clubhouse if someone who was on the ML roster was involved. I think they should keep it quiet also.

How many scoring op's did we squander today? Even in our loss yesterday we only wasted one good one. Like I said yesterday we are finally scoring runs, couple that with pitching that has the 3rd best era in the AL, and the fielding that has the 3rd highest %age in the AL and this is a team that people don't want to f*** with right now...

Both of his last two starts have been great. Hopefully he has realized that he has to be in the game for every pitch of EVERY game.

That is a tough call, but I think I would agree with you. I definately would have Loz or Colon go in game one followed by MB in game two.
