I actually have been saying that the Yankees are beatable and that the Twins have a good match up for them.

Wonder why dumbass D.J. picked him the whole freakin season... Actually I noticed as the season went on that there were a lot of games where a lessor guy actually had the most points, but no one picked them, so a guy like Maggs, Frank, or Lee got the win.

Not criticizing your list, because this is just opinion, but how can you not have Pedro on there. If you look at how dominant he has been compared to the rest of the league its almost ridiculous. He has been a much better pitcher than both Schilling and Glavine and he has been better than Johnson or Maddux. not to mention ... how could there be a tossup between arod and larkin????? Maybe he is taking 2004 salaries into account?

The players raises are a part of the payroll. If that number is taken up by raises that doesn't bother me, as long as our payroll total increases to reflect the added burden passed onto the fans. And aren't the concessions based on contracts awarded to the concessionaires? So in other words if they have increased costs, they have to deal with it, just as if they have increased profits they get to keep those also? Parking has already become a fixed cost as you said in another thread that is now a fixed long term cost, because of a contract for that also. I wouldn't be surprised if security is also contracted out.

I think Garland is never going to better than he is now he is not a #2 starter with his era and control problems , I would like to see him dealt in the offseason. Honestly, where do people come up with this crap? A 23 year old with loads of potential, who has improved, is never going to get better?
