Yes Jason and were those people who said Jason WIlliams is overrated, because hes white essentially fired? Or even questioned? Not gonna say its cause he's black, but I personally think its because he is this running qb with a great arm (Not an accurate one) and right now people drool over that style, yet I haven't seen one of those guys win the superbowl lately (Big Time Scrambler...all I can think of is Elway and I think he knew how to throw). Agreed 100 percent, on everything. I dont really feel sorry for Rush, as im sure in a way he deserves it........its the whole double standard that really irks me. Once again it goes back to the overraction of main stream society who thinks they have to make up for centuries of distrimination by showing how far they would go for equality. So now anytime someone asks a tough question on a minority (whether it be race, religion, creed, orientation, etc) someone freaks out, and so they are considered disriminatory, everyone else has to jump in on the chorus. The problem is that is prevents a frank discussion on anything because the majority are afraid to ask probing questions for fear of being labeled as discriminatory. And it has the opposite affect on society because then stereotypes and misconceptions are never corrected, because the can't be questioned. It is a stupid vicious circle.

The thing is when Jerry got here he was a breath of fresh air. He wanted his guys running the bases, bunting and moving runners over. Then he abandoned all of those ideas for the 3 run HR.

Cameron is not going to resign in Seattle. He is going to be one of those guys that takes a huge paycut. I wouldn't be surprised if he goes from $8 mil to $2 mil or less. Yeah playin in Safeco has really decreased his batting numbers ova there. Still he's a guy who can hit bout .250 and .260 with 30 homers (in a hitters park) and a plus arm in da outfield plus great speed. Some team will overpay $4 to $5 mil for him, maybe Pittsburgh or even Cleveland. After seeing what players got paid last year. $2 mil tops. Archive this post.

If the deal was Ichiro at $6 million and Maggs at $14 million, and that meant that we could resign most of our FA's, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

He was a big time winner everywhere else he went. When he came to Manchester he took at team that was 0-10 and finished the season 4-24 and had them undefeated in the national championship game within 3 years. At SW Missouri St he took them to the big dance for the first time in their history IIRC. He has brought a lot of talent to Iowa, but injuries have just killed them, along with the Pierre Pearce scandal.
