Look if Rocker is willing to share medicals and workout for the team, as well as sign for a slot type bonus, you take him every time if he checks the boxes. He has front line potential if he healthy and recovered. He would also be a quick mover potentially, which you know the Sox would love.

Hopefully this is a good sign. He really started to pick it up the last week in AAA, because if he can get back to his potential, this team is a ton more dangerous.

If you take him out you become even more dependent on players who haven't proven themselves to be anything but injury prone. It might "balance" the roster better, but you would have to figure out how to replace his consistent .280 30/100 on an annual basis.

We could treat guns like any other dangerous product where when ot sold irresponsibility or negligently, we assign a level to blame to those people. If your bartender overserves, they can be held responsible. Big pharma was hit for billions over Oxy. Big Tobacco was drilled for billions. Do the same to gun producers and sellers.

Here's the problem with the "criminals will still have guns", we do this for nothing else in the criminal code. Otherwise we would have full abortion protections, drugs would be legal, DUIs wouldn't exist, roads wouldn't have speed limits, embezzlement wouldn't be a crime, etc. Every country would have nuclear weapons. We regulate, restrict and ban literally anything else that causes even a fraction of this death and destruction.
