Minor League Stats
http://www.geocities.com/wsox_minors/ This guy keeps a site for selected players. It is nice because all of the teams are in one place. If there are players you don't see I would try baseball america.

Cotts pitching shutout ball
Glad to see both Ring and Cotts have good outings.
-
Harris and Jimenez - wow
Borchard has been injured, so it doesn't surprise me that they are trying to get Harris some innings in CF.
-
Olivo
And if Miguel is emerging, could it make more of a possibility of letting Josh Paul walk and getting either Ginter or Harris up here?

WHIP
but fogg has a 4.00+ era with a low whip. care to explain that? For what ever reason Fogg can't pitch out of the stretch effectively is what it sounds like to me. Once runners get on they tend to score.

Why do you think the MLB has had all of the labor strife and problems that it has had? Next to hockey is the worst managed of the professional sports. The NBA has almost ideal labor conditions and it shows. They don't have nearly the problem with failing franchises, they have a drug policy, and none of the animosity that exsists between owners and players, that prevents anything from getting done easily.

Ballparks ranked
That is garbage. After being to A LOT of parks all over the country, there is no way that Comiskey is #16. The lower deck is one of the best facilities in the country.

Soriano vs Jimenez
I ended up with Soriano and Jimenez in a couple of fantasy leagues. I picked D'A up late in 3 different drafts because he was qualified at 3B and 2B to give me some depth.
-
Koch
I do like the fact he is taking the blame himself, instead of blaming the offense or defense Navarro style
-
Jose Cruz
Also when looking at Cruz remember he is hitting behind Barry Bonds in SF. With us he would be hitting 7th or 8th most likely.

Myth of the spit on veteran
Agent Orange is a scary thing. My dad had a 9 month tour as a combat engineer before he got hurt in a bombing raid. The effects from Orange have lasted until today. It was a miracle that my brother and I didn't have any problems related to it.

The Unit is disabled
Well now everyone knows if you get offered Unit in a trade, why it is happneing

Albert Belle
I do remember Jerry Manuel talking about the deep intelectual conversations that they used to have. meaning of the universe type stuff, if I recall correctly.

Cotts pitching shutout ball
Be the first on your block to suggest the Sox send down Jon Garland for Neal Cotts!!!

It would look a whole lot worse when Sandy has his annual knee problems
-
Soriano vs Jimenez
I can't complain about Jimenez's K's because the guy is seeing so many pitches. it seems like everytime he is at the plate he is in a full count. He is giving Valentin and Frank so many pitches to look at it, it is unreal

A bit of good news.
We have got rock Baltimore. They were struggling against Tampa for gods sakes!
-
Botch.....
It is a HUGE overreaction to be talking about demoting a guy who was supposed to be our #3 starter after 4 STARTS. I would be SHOCKED if Josh Stewart had anywhere near the numbers that Jon did by the end of the year.

Albert Belle
LMAO, ah I miss the nights getting the cheap seats and moving down to LF and taunting him "Joey, Joey" And that was AFTER he was on our team!
-
5 in 5
1994. Anyone know the other players to hit 5 in 5 for the Sox
