Pitching well against the Padres is far from impressive. They stink and really didn't deserve to be in the playoffs to begin with. The Twinkies finished the season with a better record than the Padres.

Yeah, he did but it was pretty funny. He also was saying that he may not be the best manager in baseball but he's the best looking. Ozzie said that Freddy didn't greet the crowd when they flew back from Anaheim because he was too hung over.

Ozzie is going off on Mike North right now on the Score for doubting him and bashing him the entire season. Ozzie has sworn twice already on the air. He said "ass" and "horses***." Ozzie is pretty much bashing all of the second-guessers in the media. He is pissed that people second-guessed him after the fact and not before. Mike North is happy to eat the crow.

Steve Stone said on the Mike North show that he thinks the Sox will win in 6 games.

I would think that the short porch in left field would be an advantage for most of our pull-hitters like Konerko, Dye, Rowand, and Crede. But it will suck to have to worry about it everytime our pitchers are on the mound. What a stupid design for a ballpark.

Good points. Wells and Ichiro are probably locks but the third GG is up for grabs. Rowand actually has a chance.

I agree. But for this season, Vernon Wells' defensive numbers are arguably better than Rowand's and he has the offensive numbers as well.
