HR has been in a hole for the last 2 years
Reynolds would have played at the Cell considering he played with the Mariners, Orioles, and Angels after 1991 and retired in 1994. http://www.baseball-reference.com/r/reynoha01.shtml He's still an idiot though. :rolly

The Cell is a hitter's park? Since when? :headshake Harold Reynolds can't really be this stupid, or can he?

Koskie for Morneau Deal
Mike Piazza -- he's a DH at this point and I don't see the Twins spending the money for a full-time DH. They would also want him to play a position. Well, Mauer is already at catcher. Piazza isn't really a full-time option at 1st base either. Piazza was so bad at 1st base the Mets moved him back to catcher. If he doesn't retire, he will definately sign with some A.L. team to be a DH though. Brian Giles -- LOL, the Twins can't afford him. Paul Konerko -- LOL, see above. Bill Mueller -- I could see Mueller being the Twins' main free agent target if they don't trade Morneau for Koskie (which I don't see happening). The Twins may love Koskie but they would never trade away a dirt-cheap player with potential like Morneau for Koskie and his contract. The Twins have holes everywhere but 3rd base is a huge one. Kevin Millar -- I'm surprised that any team wants this bum. He plays 1st base and the outfield. He's a fat, slow bum with no power anymore (roids?). You can tell that Millar doesn't give 100% just by watching him play. He's a horrible baserunner as well. He just seems like the anti-Twins player to me so I don't see them wanting him.

Koskie for Morneau Deal
Yep, I believe that was a sportswriter for the Star Tribune that started up that rumor.

Curry Traded
Well, let's see. Tim Thomas doesn't play defense, doesn't rebound, but he can shoot. Ummm... The Knicks?

New York at Los Angeles
Agreed. I hate to do it but I'm actually rooting for the Yankees to win that series. Figgins and Cabrera could steal at will on the tandem of Contreras, Garcia, and Pierzynski. The Yankees have a much better lineup than the Angels but they play station-to-station baseball and our pitchers have shown that they can strand those slow, non-risktaking baserunners. Not so with the Angels' speedy guys on base.

Curry Traded
What are you talking about? How did Jamal Crawford launching up brick after brick and playing no defense ever hurt our record in previous years?
-
Curry Traded
By the way, I didn't know that Eddy Curry is "one of the best centers in the game." :rolly

Boston @ Chicago - ALDS Game 2
Agreed, it would be a good strategy in my opinion. Lay down some bunts down the 3rd base line and make Wells run. Wells has bad knees and has had numerous cortisone injections this season. Worst case scenario, he actually fields them but gets tired out. Best case scenario, he doesn't field them, we get some cheap infield singles, and Wells still gets tired out. I just hope our hitters remember that Wells makes his living on the corners of the plate. Once he gets behind in the count, he just throws BP over the heart of the plate.

David Wells? He's faaattt.

Curry Traded
Remember when 6'8" was tall for a power forward?
-
Curry Traded
That sucks. You would think that this would have been agreed upon by Paxson and Thomas during the trade.

Koskie for Morneau Deal
Try $12 million a year. The Star Tribune must be a rag if it would even mention such an obvious garbage rumor like that. The Twins could never afford Konerko. They can't even afford Torii Hunter's $10.75 million salary next year and they will probably trade him.

New York at Los Angeles
OMFG, did anyone see the video they just showed on FOX of Vlad throwing a ball from the dugout over the right field wall?

Boston @ Chicago - ALDS Game 1
Save runs against Boston's lineup at the Cell? Are you nuts? This game is far from over.

Boston @ Chicago - ALDS Game 1
That was the most pathetic, retarded pitch that Clement could ever throw. 0-2 count and he throws it right down the pipe to Uribe? Haha.

Boston @ Chicago - ALDS Game 1
Clement = teeball

Boston @ Chicago - ALDS Game 1
URIBE!!!

Boston @ Chicago - ALDS Game 1
Damn, 0-2 to Uribe. Varitek just told Clement to throw Uribe a horrible pitch way outside I bet.
-
Boston @ Chicago - ALDS Game 1
He apparently doesn't know how to take a horrible pitch either.

Boston @ Chicago - ALDS Game 1
Why in the hell did Crede even attempt a swing on that pitch? Wow.

Would you bunt here?

Boston @ Chicago - ALDS Game 1
Jose needs to throw his forkball more. They can't hit his good ones.
