QUOTE(Steff @ Jul 3, 2007 -> 09:47 AM) LMOA. It's wrong, but his wiki entry made me laugh. Though I do wonder what is controversial about having consensual sexual relationships with employees Sex itself is creepy, Steff. Ewww.

QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jun 19, 2007 -> 11:45 AM) Am I the only one on the planet who does not like Guinness? No, but you might be the only one that likes MGD.

His suffering has ended. Prayers to his family and players. -
QUOTE(Goldmember @ Jun 13, 2007 -> 05:01 PM) I'm hoping that Theresa realizes how big of a hit she's taken with all that's gone on, whether deserved or not, and makes the good PR move of switching the 8 with the 5/25. Who knows, maybe Kyle signs with DEI and they switch so Kyle can have his number and Jr. his... You're right. It would be a very good PR move and she needs all she can get right now.

This is why we have an illegal immigration problem.

QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jun 15, 2007 -> 07:02 AM) Well of course Nuke hates forgeiners, that's why he signed up for the army and is in Iraq fighting for them... Best...post...ever!! God bless you, Nuke!! -
QUOTE(Goldmember @ Jun 12, 2007 -> 05:08 PM) As an Earnhardt fan, I don't mind him driving for Hendrick if it nets him a championship. My dislike was never for Hendrick but for 3 of his drivers (Gordon, Johnson, Busch). My opinions of his new teammates won't change, it just means I'll see a bit more of them in relation to Earnhardt. Maybe now the idiot faction of our fanbase will stop throwing crap at Gordon's car. It's going to take some getting used to seeing Jr. in the 25. Good thing I put off getting that 8 tattoo... Hendrick said they're going to try to get the 8 from DEI, but I doubt it will happen.

I wish we had legislators like that nowadays. Or at least a media that gave them some face time. Thanks for posting, Mike. I've got the speech on one of my Reagan biography DVDs. Maybe I'll watch it tonight.

There should be a shutoff valve in the house.

QUOTE(Steff @ May 31, 2007 -> 10:55 AM) What's he going to do, put the PROFESSIONAL MLB PLAYERS in a time out in the corner...? If anyone thinks he's been silent through this then they haven't been paying attention to Ozzie the last 3.5 years. These "men" need to take some responsibility. Ironically, Oz said the same thing last night. IMO, time for him to start calling the "men" out. Oh, great! Now Steff's going to go on a man-hating rant.

QUOTE(WhiteSoxFan1 @ May 24, 2007 -> 02:26 PM) Well interesting turn of events. Shes going to her friends apartment for the weekend out in the city. Says that her friend is going to a party tomorrow night which the girl I like isnt interested in and says her friend has no problem with her having me over and us hanging out at her apartment by ourselfs. Ofcourse like you guys mentioned, at 17 as quickly as things are planned, even quicker they can change, so if this actually goes through it should be an interesting weekend. A lot of questions could be answered, and im sure a ton of new ones will arise. Behave yourself. That's someone's daughter!!

Form, form, form. The correct posture and form is more important than the weight itself. Get this right first before adding weight.

QUOTE(RockRaines @ May 23, 2007 -> 12:48 PM) Children who live in that type of a household will always rebel at one point or another, its up to the kids psyche to how bad of a rebellion. There is a happy medium between leave alone parenting and nazi parenting, neither one is a good choice. Sure, but I'm going on my assumption, correct or not, that her life isn't really run like a concentration camp and that it's only one 20 year old's opinion. QUOTE(RockRaines @ May 23, 2007 -> 08:08 PM) Ugh, if I have a daughter im going to forbid her from dating until she is 21 I have three and they're not dating until I'm dead!!

QUOTE(WhiteSoxFan1 @ May 23, 2007 -> 10:42 AM) Ah no sir, I wasn’t annoyed with you. I just meant annoyed with the situation in general. Its like we text, talk and chat throughout the day until we go to the bed, and then it all starts again in the morning with a wake up greet and its starting to feel like were bonding. However, when it comes to hanging out or making any kind of plans threes always question marks and uncertainty if or when she can because of her parents. So that’s what’s getting annoying. I asked for the advice so ill take the criticism along with it no problem. Ive just never dealt with it, and the easy advice of “move on and find someone else” isn’t really the answer im looking for right now. Oh, OK, no problem. The advice wasn't so much "move on and find someone else" as it is like badger said above. You're not going to beat them and fighting them will only make their will stronger. On the other hand, if you meet them and treat them with respect (don't lie about your age) you may, MAY, win them over and they may lighten up. It's the only way. They've never met you and you expect them to let their underage daughter to go out late to a concert with you? You have to earn their trust. Show this girl how much you like and respect her by doing just that. Not by lying to them and rolling your eyes about them.

QUOTE(Steff @ May 23, 2007 -> 10:33 AM) LOL, all 5 of you. A lot of traveling, some medical stuff, and most recently, baking a bun. Holy cow! Awesome! Congrats! QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ May 23, 2007 -> 10:36 AM) Threadjack!!! Congrats PS, you have to share the recipe, because we have one in the oven as well! Eeek! I'd better stay away from my wife, we don't need anymore! Congrats, Mike.

QUOTE(WhiteSoxFan1 @ May 23, 2007 -> 08:55 AM) How am I being immature? Her life is ran like a goddamn concentration camp. no lie She is litterally controlled by them, and its kind of sad to watch because she doesnt know any other way so she doesnt even know how messed up it really is. Forget hanging out with me, they wouldnt even let her go to a party with her best friend on friday, or go to a wnba game with her friend tomorrow, whos a female. Seriously, this girl is being deprived of so much. She's 17. It's for them and only them to decide. If more parents ran their kids' lives like a (Lord's name in vain) concentration camp, we'd all be a lot better off. You're 20. It's useless to argue this with you. I didn't think you'd understand anyway - that's why I said "10 years from now..." And before you get "annoyed" with me remember you're the one asking for advise. You asked, I gave. You don't have to like it. Also realize this is coming from a guy that "dated" a younger girl in high school and had to deal with the same kind of parents - they balmed me for her bad grades, bad attitude, you name it. I thought they were nuts. Now, 15 years later, I realize they were right and I had no idea how to treat a girl. I treated her like crap and I'll be damned sure not to let any of my three daughters hang out with or date anyone that acts they way I did or the way you are. QUOTE(Steff @ May 23, 2007 -> 07:36 AM) Good daddy. Where have you been? We've missed you!
