I never said I hated him. There are ways to defend a player on the boards without calling the critic stupid, idiot, moron, etc. Step back, take a deep breath, and defend your guy with a reasonable and well thought out response. You don't have to berate everyone.

I care more in April. I want to see them get a great start and create some interest in this town. The last three years I've lost interest pretty quickly. Don't get me wrong, I still watch games and go to games. It's just not number one on my list anymore. When they lose in April I'm miserable. But now, I just have to laugh. If I don't - I'll give myself an ulcer.

I was there as well, with three of my Cub fan friends. The driver wanted to leave in the 7th (it was tied at the time). I told him to go ahead, just put my bag behind the porta-potty so I can take the Red Line to the city and the South Shore back to Indiana. (It's a 16 mile walk from the station to my house.) I'm glad I stayed! He ended up waiting for me and b****ed the entire way home.
