  1. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jul 14, 2008 -> 07:46 PM) You and your facts.... You have a valid point though. Right-center is closer than left-center, mainly because the walls in left field go out a lot steeper towards center.
  2. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jul 14, 2008 -> 07:40 PM) Yankee stadium's short porch to right means a lefty will win. At another stadium, there is a good shot I'd have backed Braun. Yeah, that 318 down the left field line is much further than the 314 down the right field line. I'm still taking Braun.
  3. Uggla has some damn good pop. There was a CQ sighting as well.
  4. I'm taking Braun. No one seems to be talking about him. He has just as much power, if not more, than anyone else in the field.
  5. Time. For. Trade. Winds. Anyways, Coop could potentially turn Cabrera into a super stud. It's kinda scary the potential that there is there.

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jul 14, 2008 -> 04:48 PM) I enjoyed it as well. It had some parts which were a bit more out there, but still hilarious assuming you aren't easily offended. My favorite line: "I'ma rip you up, b****! You best watch yo' back beeyitch!"
  7. QUOTE (bighurt4life @ Jul 14, 2008 -> 05:27 PM) I'm not really interested in him, i think this year his performance is an abberation and he'll level out after the break. I looked into his #'s a bit and found a breakdown of his season which pretty much sums up what I already thought about him His ERA hasn't been 2.32 since June 4th. His ERA has since fallen to 1.82.
  8. QUOTE (whitesoxbrian @ Jul 14, 2008 -> 04:49 PM) I'm not sure what I'd give up for him. Getz, Richard, Broadway, and Crede (maybe?)... LOL, more like Fields, Poreda, Broadway, Shelby....and possibly more.
  9. Buehrle, Duchscherer, Danks, Vazquez, Floyd Thats a balanced rotation with 2 of the best starters in the MLB this season, as well as one of the hottest starters in the league in Buehrle.

Harold and Kumar 2 > the 1st one. Hilarious movie.
  11. QUOTE (LosMediasBlancas @ Jul 14, 2008 -> 02:29 PM) I agree. How do you propose home field advantage for the WS should be determined?? The team with the better record of the 2 gets home field advantage?
  12. QUOTE (Shadows @ Jul 14, 2008 -> 02:12 AM) brian urlacher Zach Thomas And John Madden told me Tony Romo was Superman.
  13. 7 3/8 normally, 7 3/4 when I have long hair.
  14. QUOTE (dasox24 @ Jul 12, 2008 -> 10:50 PM) That's awesome. One of maybe 5 message board posts that has ever made me literally laugh out loud... Just envisioning that is hilarious. Oh, and back to topic of this thread. If I won the lottery, I'd buy a used 2006 Chevy Tahoe since that is my favorite car of all time, but don't like the post-2006 look. Kinda crazy, right? Everyone thinks I'm nuts when I say I'd buy a Tahoe and not some ridiculous sports car or something, but truthfully, I've wanted a Tahoe since I was 14 and that's all I'd want. I'd give a bunch to my family members and buy a house. Save/Invest the rest... Funny you should mention that, because the car I'd buy would be an 2007 Volvo S80. Otherwise, I'd pay off all mortgages, debts, tuitions, etc. for the immediate family. Buy a nice house somewhere in the suburbs for the family. Then I'd buy a large property somewhere in the Midwest or Saskatchewan for hunting. I'd donate a nice chunk to charities and foundations I like, and would spend the rest to buy out PETA and then destroy it.
  15. QUOTE (DABearSoX @ Jul 12, 2008 -> 10:39 PM) Umm.... the the 1st link is to a book called "Angels Delight: Erotic Fantasy Photography" I don't know if I want to buy that or Soxopoly now.... I got "Premium Grade 24K Gold Stereo RCA Cable Red & White 25 ft".
  16. QUOTE (DABearSoX @ Jul 12, 2008 -> 10:35 PM) Gotta find a way to rip Paulie even if he had a stupendous game.....BOOURNS How is that ripping Paulie? It's true.
  17. According to this, Danks will pitch the finale against KC on the 20th and on 7 days of rest...and I'll be there. Sweetness.
  18. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 12, 2008 -> 09:39 PM) Chw ... Thornton was just as bad. Sometimes players got to do the job. Boone didn't. Thornton was not great either. Not one ball was hit that hard off Thornton.
  19. QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Jul 12, 2008 -> 09:51 PM) Man that was some play all the way around!!! I posted on another topic about it. I was watching it on WGN and Hawk was calling the batted ball a hit when all of sudden Ramirez stabbed it and made that throw and Swisher gave it the best stretch to catch it. WOW! I think it will make ESPN Plays of the Game what do you think? It was funny, the second Swish made the catch and the ump called him out, my Grandpa and I looked at each other and agreed that there is no way Paulie makes that play.
  20. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jul 12, 2008 -> 09:39 PM) I wonder if those people who wanted Konerko TRADED still think the same way. Today's game is exactly what Paulie needed. He's always killed Millwood. He really needed a confidence booster like a 4-4 game to get him back on track. Hopefully, this game isn't a one hit wonder. Paulie's had a couple of those this season. The good is that Paulie looked about as good as he has all year. The bad is that he only has 1 more game to build on his momentum.

    I thoroughly enjoyed Hancock.
  23. QUOTE (whitesoxbrian @ Jul 11, 2008 -> 08:57 PM) O/U- After Sunday, Josh Hamilton will have 88 RBI. I'll take the over, considering he is already at like 93.
