QUOTE(DrunkBomber @ Jun 2, 2007 -> 05:28 PM) The Chapelle show Charlie Murphy E true Hollywood sotry with Rick James, before it was played out of course. I happen to like the Prince version better. You guys want some grapes?

Greatest minor league ejection routine ever?

I'm still going to have to go with the grenade. -

The grenade part might have been the best thing I have ever seen in my life. -
This will turn into a 28 million dollar tragedy for the Yankees. But hey, he got Scranton/Wilkes Barre a win!

QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Jun 1, 2007 -> 06:24 PM) I have 2 theories. Either Barret was actually trying to point at the sky on that wild pitch/throw past 3rd... Or in fact, AJ and Zambrano have become good friends and Z was defending AJ's honor. I heard from someone who went to the game and sat near the dugout that Barrett said "I wasn't the one who put 7 runs on the board."

Shingo Takatsu (spent $210 on a jersey too) Tony Graffanino Willie Harris Bill Simas Josh Paul Rock Biddle's sideburns Miguel Olivo I loved the Milkman too but he started here for a while and was a pretty key guy. Timo Perez will always have a soft spot in my heart as well. No joke, I liked Timo. QUOTE(Beastly @ May 30, 2007 -> 09:43 PM) Billy Simas, Geoff Blum, Jamie Burke, Jose Canseco, Sean Lowe, Brook Fordyce, Gary Glover, Ray Durham, Tom Gordon, and D'Angelo Jimenez. not-so known? Although Durham is my favorite White Sox player ever.

"The cozy duo dined with two pals at a pricey steakhouse late Sunday night," the Post reported, "then headed to a glitzy strip club before making their way to his hotel, where the pair ducked into an elevator and headed upstairs just after midnight." A little after midnight seems a bit early to me...

Give me: 1.) Johan Santana 2.) Albert Pujols 3.) Jose Reyes 4.) Grady Sizemore 5.) Jake Peavy I'd take Liriano over Peavy if he was healthy. The younger version would be: Cole Hamels Prince Fielder Hanley Ramirez Delmon Young Scott Kazmir

QUOTE(chimpy2121 @ May 30, 2007 -> 04:37 PM) I recently heard that he was supposed to play football and baseball for FSU, but then ran into trouble with the law in Valdosta, GA. I don't know the truth to this, but I thought it was interesting. "Well, you know Chimpy, Willie Harris is from Cairo, Georgia. One of 2 players ever to come out of there. The other was the late great Jackie Robinson."

Finally saw the Pursuit of Happyness, I was very pleased. Very good movie, told the story pretty well, and Smith played the role brilliantly.

I'm loving the high socks Mike. Not so much the purple shirt GP.

Todd Ritchie deal, although just about everyone involved was crap. And one I always hated was Durham for Adkins.

QUOTE(RockRaines @ May 28, 2007 -> 08:40 PM) You guys really think the lakers would take any deal that didnt include Deng? Come on now. He would be probably the first thing they asked for. As long as Odom is still a Laker, I don't see this being the case.

QUOTE(Sonik22 @ May 21, 2007 -> 08:42 PM) This fall is gonna be the greatest in gaming history. Halo 3 (beta is amazing already), Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Grand Theft Auto 4. Can't wait, my 360 is gonna overheat! I can't wait for GTA4 for 360. I'm so excited.

QUOTE(fathom @ May 27, 2007 -> 09:09 PM) I'd take him in a second for a deal around Gordon, Tyrus, and the 9 pick. ^^^ x infinity Kirk, Kobe, Deng is one helluva trio. If we could resign PJ for another season, keep him at PF, and with Big Ben at C...wow. Maybe even you sign a Chris Mihm/Brian Skinner/Kurt Thomas/Jamaal Magloire/Melvin Ely/Corliss Williamson for the MLE, and you've got yourself quite a team.

QUOTE(CrimsonWeltall @ May 26, 2007 -> 05:24 PM) Here is the fight on YouTube. Liddell's corner throws in the towel. Holy sh..... Liddell out in the 1st round.

QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ May 26, 2007 -> 07:38 PM) (you really should though, if you've got power, which I do) I wish I could have made it to see this "power."

QUOTE(Kalapse @ May 26, 2007 -> 01:31 PM) The only thing I don't like about him is his throwing arm. Quoted for the flipping truth.

QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ May 26, 2007 -> 05:36 PM) Hard to say for sure but the way it was hit Crede took the right approach but somehow it just stayed going the other way. Hawk said he never saw anything like it before. Neither did I. We were right down the line and had a perfect look at it. It was hit literally right to him. For some reason, he jumped to the right, then reached back to his left and missed it. It looked like he tried stopping himself in mid-air. Just an odd play.

QUOTE(South Side Fireworks Man @ May 26, 2007 -> 06:00 PM) Game rained out. No DH tomorrow--the almighty dollar rules. Game to be made up Aug. 27th. Birthday win for me, count it.
-
I'm thinking they'll probably get the game in after a long rain delay.

I was at the game, and when Tererro hit that HR, there was no doubt about it. I had been talking s*** about him all game to my friends, and the pitch before the HR, I was complaining about him starting. Nonetheless, it was a f***ing bomb, so props to him. I couldn't tell at the game, but how in the hell did Crede misplay that line drive right to him to put the Drays up 1-0. Also, a funny story, in the section next to us, when Ozzie came out to talk to Buehrle, a bunch of guys were screaming "NO! DONT TAKE HIM OUT!" He didn't, they cheered, and 1 pitch later came a game-tying home run by Dukes.
