I didnt watch last night or tonight but Fox News just did a special on that orange chick with all the makeup or whatever and they said the producers set her up and told her to put more make up on or some s***. Anybody else catch that?

QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jan 18, 2006 -> 09:20 PM) Do you know what a good baseball agent's prerogative is? It's to get his client to free agency inorder to make the most money possible for both him and his client. Scott Boras also only gives out 1 year deals a lot of time on arbitration eligible players especially ones who are seamingly underachieving. With Crede's 1 year contract Boras has the option to sign Crede to another 1 year deal next year at a considerably higher price if Crede has a break out year in '06. Also if he did end up going to arbitration after a Crede breakout year he would stand to make much more money, a muti year contract holds Crede to a set salary for '07 which means if Joe does have a breakout season he won't see a raise for it. From the Sox' point of view a 1 year deal is also the safe way of going about things considering the question marks surrounding Crede's back. Cool. Thanks for clearing that up for me. And for the record, I know that every agent is out to get their clients the most money. That's their job.

This came up when I searched Erin Andrews on Google.... Any objections? EDIT: Yes, I know this is not actually Erin Andrews.

I really didn't know what to make of this deal when I first heard of it's officialism (yeah, I made that word up). While I am glad we avoided arbitration, I am a bit stumped as to why a longer deal couldn't be worked out. But hey, if he produces like he did in the playoffs, 2.675 millions is nothing.

heart attack after fumble

QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jan 18, 2006 -> 08:41 PM) Game 2 was so weird. I was so happy when Konerko hit the grand slam, jumping up, screaming, and high-fiving anyone near me. Then, I was more pissed than I might ever have been when Jenks blew the save (I stomped on an end table). Finally, I didn't even know how to react anymore when Pods hit the walkoff. I went from two extremes that quickly that I was almost lost. I can definitely agree with this. It was unbelievable. Pods walkoff, while more important, just didn't muster up the same excitement as PK's grand slam, due to the blown save. -
Chat Crew Liaison please.

heart attack after fumble

I was pretty bad after game three of the World Series. I was falling asleep when Blum hit the homerun and my heart must have expanded to about the size of a pillow. And I cried after PK's Grand Slam.....I mean balled my eyes out like there was no tommorrow. And for some strange reason, the only other time I cried about/at a sporting event was when the Avalanche won the Stanley Cup. I have no clue why. I think I was just relieved for Ray Bourque. -
QUOTE(DVsoxfan @ Jan 18, 2006 -> 05:42 PM) ditto No, I don't use LimeWire.

Between Iguchi and Uribe. I think the change for Juan from 9 to 2 will help and thw change for Tad from 2 to 6 will help too. At least I hope so. We all know what Juanny did in 2004 batting 2nd and Gooch's numbers in Japan were from when he batted in the middle of the lineup.

QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Jan 16, 2006 -> 06:33 PM) Are you kidding me?! Chuck Norris would bat an eyebrow and that pussy would shrivel up and blow away in the wind. Never.
-
QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Jan 16, 2006 -> 06:27 PM) Chuck Norris's Beard meets Mike Ditkas perm. Now theres a match for the ages. Eazy-E's gheri curl prevails.
-
QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jan 16, 2006 -> 06:24 PM) The Chuck Norris facts started out really funny, but the new ones suck more and more as they come out. Not all of them suck. My fav: When Chuck Norris was denied a Sausage McMuffin at McDonalds because it was 10:35, he roundhouse kicked the restaurant so hard that it became a Wendy's.
-
QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Jan 16, 2006 -> 06:20 PM) Yeah but what if Ditka was in the game? Norris would lose. Period. Only the power of Da Coach can withstand the brute force of a Chuck Norris-delivered Roundhouse Kick. Then, Ditka would b**** Norris out, forcing him to have sex with Jerry Angelo wife.

QUOTE(Mr. Showtime @ Jan 16, 2006 -> 05:56 PM) Nah, just the only one who cares... But......I.......the..................
-
QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Jan 16, 2006 -> 06:10 PM) How bout this one. Bearsssssssssss versus Chuck Norris Chuck Norris would roundhouse kick Tommie Harris into week 2 and the Urlacher and the rest would run like pussies. Then Tillman will get burned 1-on-1 by Norris, who threw it to himself, beat Tillman off the line, and caught the same ball 65 yards downfield.

I can't be the only one who caught that???

QUOTE(SnB @ Jan 16, 2006 -> 02:39 PM) I think it was some batman movie CD. it had that seal song on it. Contrary to this, my first album purchase was the SpaceJam soundtrack. I believe the next was the Korn Cd....dont ask.

I certainly wouldn't mind Az Hakim as a return man if he didn't fumble more than Bobby Wade.... Looking at the list, Keenan McCardell would like quite nice in a Bears uni. Price or Warrick are low-risk/high-reward type guys. I think Boerigter is a guy who kinda goes unseen around the NFL but has had some nice success in KC. Reggie Wayne is a pipe-dream and then Randle-El and Bryant are there too.
