You know, now that I think about it, it's gonna bea tough for anyone not to pick Brazil. As long as they have Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, and Roberto Carlos....they'll be tough. Ronaldinho is arguably the best player in the world right now. But playing in Germany, Germany will be a favorite to with Oliver Kahn mining the net. It's gonna be a great World Cup.

AJ should definitely stick to baseball. Comedic gold right there.

TBIA isn't exactly too friendly to pitches so if he plans on being successful, he will definitely have to keep his pitches down. And with a fastball that gous up to 96/97, he can be successful but I think he'll definitely have some rough patches throughtout the season. It's a great move for Texas but I wouldn't expect much.

I like this deal for the Rangers. They need pitching and thy got Padilla for very cheap. If he could go back to pitching like he did when he was an All-Star in 2003(?) then they really get a steal.

I just thought it would be cool to reflect on 2 deals that did and did not happen and how they turned out well.

Wow, the Carl Everett haters need to shut up. Man, watch the World Series DVD or the Sox Pride DVD and see how much of a cancer he was to the team. Carl produced on the down-low. He didn't have monster numbers but he was there when we needed him. He helped us win the world series and was DEFINITELY a one of the clubhouse leaders. I, for one, will miss Carl and wish him the best of luck.

Another one that worked out well for the Sox. Many hated it but after game 3 of the WS, we all loved it.
