If the Bulls never wear those uni's again, I wont be upset. I kinda like the Wizards jerseys though.

HAPPY BDAY GOLDY!!!!!!!!!!!

Currently: Thome/Anderson If All at Full-Strength: Thomas/Rowand And it would have to be the 2004 Rowand and the 2000/1994 Frank Thomas.

QUOTE(White Sox Josh @ Dec 10, 2005 -> 03:40 PM) 20-17 Bears. Kyle Orton goes 16-25 for 188 yards and 2 Touchdown passes. The defense has some trouble in the beginning of the game as the Steelers decide to attack the Bears with the passing game however the Bears defense adjusts and is able to be a bend but don't break defense this week. The Steelers Passing defense is pretty weak and Ron Turner opens up the playbook for Orton and allows him to be more aggressive. Give me what you're smoking.

What was up with the uni's? I missed the game...any pics?

QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Dec 10, 2005 -> 02:40 AM) Yeah and 3 of the 4 games they won by 5 points or less. That's getting the s*** beat out of you alright. What counts in the end...wins and losses. Bulls 6, Jazz 0

I consider it "beating the s*** outta someone" when you beat them over and over and over in "important" games like, oh, I dunno, the Finals.

QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Dec 10, 2005 -> 01:36 AM) Houston dealt him because they didn't want to pay him big bucks (at the time he looked as if he was due to get big bucks in a year or two) plus they had to free money for other things. They also wanted to slide the cheaper Brad Lidge into the closers role. That moved payed off...until Games 5 of the NLCS and Game 2 of the WS.

QUOTE(SleepyWhiteSox @ Dec 10, 2005 -> 01:38 AM) So your argument is that he isn't a great because his numbers went down when he got older? That's almost every single great player... Off the top of my head I can only think of Jordan retiring on top. Twice.
-
QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Dec 10, 2005 -> 01:29 AM) lol you guys are complaining about phantom calls? Being a Jazz fan I feel that's so sad I'm laughing. Being a Bulls fan I think about the times we beat the s*** out of the Jazz...

QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Dec 10, 2005 -> 01:22 AM) All losers. No offense. Graves was horrid this past year. Hammons (isn't he a lefty?) has no stuff and is washed up (maybe he put up good numbers, hell I never knew how he put up good numbers but he did a couple years). Shiggy hasn't been a good reliever in a few years Ben Weber is god awful Jeff Nelson is an old fart Dotel wasn't great last year, but he's still young, has a power arm, and has above average stuff (plus he's been able to pitch). He's actually got ability and consideringh is injury (and the fact that hte Sox have depth) I think he'd be a nice guy to look at. I have no idea if he's expected back at the start of the season, but he's be a nice insurance plan and could be a good arm in the pen (although I'm sure he'd want to go to a team where he'd have a better shot at closing). I dunno, Dotel is a headcase isn't he? I know there is a reason Houston traded him back in 04. IMO, a lefty is a more "pressing" need in the pen right now. Rincon is definitely a guy I would go after hard. If not, then maybe KW would look at Ishii and turn him into a fulltime reliever.

QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Dec 10, 2005 -> 01:21 AM) Hey, Osuna was pretty solid for us in 2002. Just don't look at his 42.43 ERA with the Nationals last season. Is Chris Hammonds the only decent lefty option left? Chris Hammond Ricardo Rincon Terry Mulholland Joey Eschein Alan Ambree Buddy Groom Kaz Ishii Kelly Wunsch

QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Dec 10, 2005 -> 01:00 AM) I wouldn't mind looking at Dotel (don't know how much he's looking for). He's coming off an injury and isn't a great closer, but he'd have closers experience and could come in and be a good setup man (a great one if he's healthy). Plus if Jenks or Hermy falter you have a really good backup plan. Dotel is a FA??? And if it were a righty KW looks at, I think he should consider Jeff Nelson or Ben Weber. These are the kinds of guys that fit on the Sox...and if all else fails, I have no problem with bringing Kelly Wunsch back. Others I would consider: Shigetoshi Hasegawa Danny Graves Chris Hammons Antonio Osuna

The fact that he was so versatile is what really amazes me. He could start at PG with MJ at SG, he could start at SF with Pax at PG and MJ at SG and with Mike on the bench, he could be SG too. All with spectacular defense. He could guard anyone 1-4. Special player.
-
QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Dec 10, 2005 -> 12:28 AM) The ideal outcome would be to obtain Jeff DaVanon and trade Willie and Borchard for a decent lefty reliever with some upside. That would make this offseason perfect. Maybe instead of Davanon, Tucker or another FA.
-
QUOTE(qwerty @ Dec 10, 2005 -> 12:01 AM) Would have been better in my opinion and would have gotten alot more recognition. He was the best all around player in the league the when jordan went to try out baseball. Agreed. MVP type numbers without MJ.

QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Dec 9, 2005 -> 11:51 PM) Do you know? Well then I shall nominate myself for having the highest percentage of using periods at the end of sentences. And I nominate you for the "Confusing Know and Now Award."

So, any predictions on when Cook will be defended in this game?
-
QUOTE(nitetrain8601 @ Dec 9, 2005 -> 11:41 PM) BTW, did anyone catch Lovie Smith at the game? Yeah, I saw that. And the fact they extend their lead without Kobe is not good news for the Bulls.
-
QUOTE(nitetrain8601 @ Dec 9, 2005 -> 11:26 PM) Bulls are playing like s***. Any possible way we could get MJ and Pip to suit up so they don't ruin this night? Well, their only down by 1 point now...
-
Referring to what DBAH0 said, I wouldn't mind Michael Tucker or Terrence Long at all. Either of the 2 would be excellent pick ups.
-
QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Dec 9, 2005 -> 11:16 PM) We needed Rowand to show up for this game in a Pippen Jersey. That would have been so f***ing sweet.
