They really need to start upping Rip Hamilton's minutes and keeping him on the court with the starters in crunch time late.

It's promising to me that the Bulls are gutting out these W's and still playing well enough to win without having peaked. At the same time, you'd like to start seeing them play more complete 48 minute games.

QUOTE (knightni @ Mar 4, 2012 -> 08:18 PM) Blake Brockermeyer, Ruben Brown, Andy Heck... Ruben Brown was ancient already when we signed him. Why not use Orlando Pace in your argument too? Do you know how good Carl Nicks is? And you are aware he is 26?

QUOTE (Brian @ Mar 4, 2012 -> 08:16 PM) How? Because he is tall? He has no above average skills. Because there aren't very many good big men in the league at all. By default, if you're serviceable, you're valuable.

QUOTE (knightni @ Mar 4, 2012 -> 07:01 PM) Free agent O-Linemen are money wasters, You get one of two good seasons, then they get too old and expensive. John Tait, etc. QUOTE (knightni @ Mar 4, 2012 -> 07:13 PM) You could get 2 good seasons and 3 average seasons. Dude, what? Not evert FA offensive linemen is Alen Faneca. How could you possibly make a generalization like this and then simply cite John Tait?

Hawks/Wings. Emery in net. No Datsyuk, no Ericsson, no Lidstrom for DET. We need to win today.

QUOTE (chw42 @ Mar 4, 2012 -> 02:55 PM) Rondo always has one of the highest STL% and DRtg among all players, not just point guards. He has more defensive win shares than he does offensive ones in his career. Getting steals doesn't make you a great defensive player. Rondo gets steals because he's very aggressive in playing the passing lanes. Lin got by him quite a bit but couldn't finish in and around the paint. Rondo is quick, but a great defensive player he is not.

QUOTE (chw42 @ Mar 4, 2012 -> 02:52 PM) Williams and Rondo aren't in the same tier defensively. I think Rondo is the first great defensive point guard Lin has played against. I think we're overrating Rondo's defense here.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Mar 4, 2012 -> 02:46 PM) And he has missed a ton of layups around the hoop. He's 6-18 from the floor and has regularly been right there. I said that already. If 1/2 those layups go down, he's playing the best game of anyone this season.

QUOTE (chw42 @ Mar 4, 2012 -> 02:44 PM) Rondo with 20 assists. Hot damn. He's got 4 triple-doubles this season. No one else has more than 1. 15/20/14 right now for Rondo with a steal and a block.

Boston/New York would be a very fun playoff series to watch. Also, if 1/2 these layups would go down for Rondo, he'd be having the best game of anyone this season. 13 points, 18 assists, 12 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 block. Only 5/17 from the field though.

QUOTE (bigruss22 @ Mar 4, 2012 -> 07:45 AM) Any tips for correcting a sleep schedule? I cant seem to go to sleep before 5am and wake up at like 1 or 2pm. Currently still awake at 745am, this is ridiculous. Of course I try to wake up earlier I just can't seem able too consistently....I just always revert back. QUOTE (Tex @ Mar 4, 2012 -> 07:52 AM) Two ways have worked for me. Subtle, going to sleep an hour earlier each night. So if it has been 5:00 am, try at 4:00 am etc. Drastic, drugs. Knock yourself out with some sleeping pills for a few nights. The subtle way is tough and takes time. The drastic way works temporarily but I find that you "relapse' quickly. The only way that's really worked for me is to pull an all-nighter and stay awake. Then try to go to sleep at 9 or 10 the next night and wake up early the next day. It's like a manual clock reset.

QUOTE (GoodAsGould @ Mar 4, 2012 -> 03:22 AM) I don't think he was saying Nicks wouldn't improve this team but saying we are better at the OG spot with with Spencer/Louis/Williams than WR clearly and if you had to choose the easy option is an upgrade at WR. Well it might be easier to upgrade WR in free agency than oline, I think it's also easier to upgrade WR in the draft than it is oline. Hence, if you're going to spend big, it's not a bad idea to address oline in FA and WR in the draft. Either way, I highly doubt Nicks would be coming to the Bears anyway because of his likely price tag. I just happen to think he's about as safe a bet as you can have in free agency.

QUOTE (Felix @ Mar 3, 2012 -> 09:19 PM) It's pretty obvious you haven't read any posts of mine about Rubio. I'm working on it. There are better places to actually talk basketball, as opposed to just the Bulls. I'm slowly weaning myself off of this s***hole. This is unfortunate. While I must admit, no one gives a s*** about the Timberwolves, you have always been pretty objective about most topics and are even unbiased when it does come to the Wolves. Anyone who regularly reads the thread knows you're quite excited about Rubio, but are also aware of his inefficiencies and weaknesses. You might take a shot at the Bulls every once in a while, but you're generally quite civil and back your case. I, for one, hope you do not abandon this s***hole.

QUOTE (qwerty @ Mar 4, 2012 -> 12:54 AM) Ever wonder why people enjoy when i post? Because i only post when i have logically and thoroughly analyzed the facts laying in front of me. The some can not be said for some... coughyoucough. Gospel though? Mighty kind of you to think so highly of me, but even that may be stretching it a tad. Steve you never lived up to your vow of leaving soxtalk when you vowed such if lebron james did not become a bulls player. There is zero reason you are still posting here. Don't say something if it won't be owned up to. Whatever you say is rubbish. Best part.

Patrick Kane has a mancrush on Johnny Oduya. Anyone else see that incredible breakout pass he had the other night? Outside of the 1st period against Toronto, he's been pretty damn good. Helped special teams too.
