Anyone play Uncharted 3 yet? I got it as a rental. Looking forward to it.

Yikes

Does anyone know what the exact protections are on the Bulls ownership of the Bobcats 1st round pick?

Jeremy Lin is happening again.

QUOTE (Brian @ Feb 8, 2012 -> 07:11 PM) The Hornets starting 5 maybe the worst ever. They introduced Gustavo Ayon first as the starting C and I thought it was part of the movie Will Ferrell was filming. Then he took the court.

Last 5 seasons: only 5 players have averaged 35+ MPG, 15+ PPG, 6+ RPG, 35% from 3... Durant, Anthony, Nowitzki, Gay, and Luol Deng For awesome stats on Chicago sports, follow @ckamka.

I actually wish the Bears would sign whichever of the Chiefs they don't franchise. If it's Bowe or Carr, so be it. Both are tremendous players that fill areas of need. And I went to school with Carr.
-
QUOTE (farmteam @ Feb 7, 2012 -> 10:24 PM) And how many of those guys are likely to actually be available (ie, not franchised or incredibly likely to re-sign with current team)? Maybe just Colston, Jackson, Manningham? Good chance Bowe is available too. The Chiefs have to choose between him and Brandon Carr for the franchise tag.

2 & 7 on the ice for all 3 Avalanche goals so far.

QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Feb 7, 2012 -> 04:46 PM) After I saw you talking about this, and knowing you are an avid hunter, thought you might like this. Looks awesome.

QUOTE (farmteam @ Feb 7, 2012 -> 04:52 PM) Isn't the WR free agent pool pretty deep this year? QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Feb 7, 2012 -> 04:59 PM) Until the franchise tags happen, yes very much so. Franchise tags could knock out maybe 1/2 of them, but there are guys like Vincent Jackson who supposedly won't be franchised, teams like New Orleans who have 3 guys they would like to franchise, and then others who might not as well. Dwayne Bowe Marques Colston Vincent Jackson Mike Wallace (RFA) Stevie Johnson Mario Manningham Wes Welker

QUOTE (daa84 @ Feb 7, 2012 -> 09:09 PM) Remember when Duncan Keith was the best defenseman in the league. Wtf happened The badness of the defense is spreading like the plague. However, the one positive right now is that it seems that Patrick Kane is getting it going. Which happens to be coinciding with a Hossa/Toews lull.

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Feb 7, 2012 -> 03:37 PM) Highly doubt Tenn is going to go after him with Locker around. It'd actually make a ton of sense. It's not like Peyton is going to play for another decade anyway. Let Locker learn behind one of the greatest for a couple years.

Someone probably already posted this but http://www.didthewizardswinlastnight.com/

QUOTE (Felix @ Feb 6, 2012 -> 10:19 PM) Like I said, Love didn't actively try to avoid it, so he probably did deserve the suspension. Thank you for explaining that, regardless. My pleasure.
-
QUOTE (Felix @ Feb 6, 2012 -> 05:50 PM) Meh If anything, I think that Love didn't actively try NOT to step on Scola, so the end result of a 2-game suspension is hard to complain about. I don't know where people wanted him to step instead since he was already starting to run up court, but that's pretty irrelevant I guess. You know, it's really not THAT hard to just NOT stop down and hop once more on your right foot. If you notice a pile of dog s*** on the sidewalk last second, your thought process isn't "WELL s***, NOW I HAVE TO STEP HERE" it's normally "HOW CAN I AVOID THIS s***!?!?!"

QUOTE (Brian @ Feb 6, 2012 -> 11:06 AM) I wanna catch it in the theatre just to experience the scenery on the big screen. There is one scene in particular which was entirely worth the 10 bucks for me. You'll likely know it when you see it. But I'm also a huge outdoorsman so who knows.

Djokovic won the Laureus Sportsman of the Year award. Nadal (2010) and Federer (2004-07) have both previously won it.

Jeremy Lin > Ricky Rubio

QUOTE (JPN366 @ Feb 5, 2012 -> 11:01 PM) Sorry about his wife, but he still has three trophies. And I'm sure he'd trade all three to have his wife back.
-
QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Feb 5, 2012 -> 10:35 PM) I didn't catch it. Can you elaborate? The word "devastation" doesn't even begin to describe it. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Feb 5, 2012 -> 10:36 PM) Just one of those things that's beyond words, you have to see it. Pretty much.

Did anyone see Robert Kraft's reaction at the end of the game? That might stick with me more than anything else from this game. Sports are an incredible thing. But there is so much more to life than a game. Yet, at the same time, sports can give someone hope. His reaction was heartbreaking.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Feb 5, 2012 -> 06:47 PM) This one might get taken down at some point, the legal one is on their facebook page. YES

QUOTE (Brian @ Feb 5, 2012 -> 08:57 AM) My last watch broke like 5 years ago and I never replaced it. Never needed it anymore and I don't like wearing anything on my hands. If I ever get married, my ring will probably be on a chain around my neck. Interesting. I used to never wear watches, but my sophomore year of college or so, I started wearing one every day. Now I feel weird without one. I've also had the same gold cross around my neck since 7th or 8th grade.

Can we fast forward to free agency and the draft now?
