Get out and go for a hike with your sister-in-law, you big lardass tub of goo. Hiking, diving, canoeing/kayaking are among the things I most like to do. What the hell are you complaining about?

QUOTE(sox4lifeinPA @ Sep 29, 2007 -> 10:53 AM) that or her ambiguous gentialia... As a horny highschooler I was, curiously, able to overlook such things.

QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Sep 29, 2007 -> 10:13 AM) I'm not a fan of his but come on. You act like you have some personal dirt on him. Did he eat aborted fetuses or something? Sheesh. Most likely he did. Surely you know by now. . . Conservatives practice the law and eat three meals a day. Liberals practice witchcraft and eat their young. See? Easy.

QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Sep 29, 2007 -> 09:44 AM) As well as anyone who has attempted to assassinate a president. Its been going on for a long time, and it is very wierd Heh, I used to think the same thing about assassins. . . John Wilkes Booth Lee Harvey Oswald Mark David Chapman So now, everybody is telling me it's just an artifact of the polce reports, huh?? Hmm, hat means I dumped Marry Ellen Johnson back in high school for no good reason.

QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ Sep 28, 2007 -> 09:59 AM) I've heard that. I haven't been there yet, but most people I know who have, tell me its the best city in Texas. I've been in Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, El Paso, Amarillo... just not Austin yet. Austin was home to the best brewery in America. :crying

QUOTE(Middle Buffalo @ Sep 28, 2007 -> 12:37 AM) I hate tattoos. Pish posh. Any mistake worth making is worth making permanent.

QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Sep 27, 2007 -> 11:38 PM) I noticed it about two months ago and it was only on one of my big toes, then both of my big toes and now it's all of my toes. Besides the shine, they're fine. They are thick and healthy, no pain, no breakage, no ridges, no discoloration. In that case, I'm sticking with my first diagnosis. You are a sleepglosser!

QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Sep 27, 2007 -> 11:11 PM) My toenails are wacky. They are extremely shiny, so it looks like a have clear polish on them. The weird thing is my fingernails look normal. What might be causing it? Maybe you are polishing your nails in your sleep and you don't even know it! Seriously, is this something that has just happened or have they always been shiny? I ask because sometimes shiny nails (usually brittle as well) as an onset condition is an early warning of hyperthyroidism.

I always thought that elements of the Barking Pumpkin record label would be awesome tattoos, but my wife threatened me with bodily injury if i ever got them.

QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ Sep 27, 2007 -> 05:16 PM) Its driving around Florida while covered in Iowa themes? I didn't see the back, but I assume it's still got the 99 checked off Iowa counties that were the first stops the bus made.

QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ Sep 27, 2007 -> 05:03 PM) I thought of you as I wrote that. " 'Socrates. . . What is Truth?' . . . 'Socrates. . . What is Beauty?' Not ONCE did anybody say, 'Socrates. . . Hemlock is poisonous!' "

So, I'm pulling out of the research campus today and what do i see barreling down the drive behind me, but The "MittMobile Five Brothers Bus" Meh, they''l let just about anybody into the damn place. I guess the bus is on it's Florida leg of the primary state swing.

QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Sep 27, 2007 -> 10:11 AM) Or would I rather think there is some nasty underworld Pulp Harvesting organization? All of the pulp in our drinks could be the pulp saved for years upon years of marmelade production. The orange juice industry is a damn scary business when you really think about it. Pulp is. . . People!! :o No, wait. . . sorry, that's Soylent Green.
-
QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Sep 27, 2007 -> 07:33 AM) If I know for a fact that we are talking FRESH SQUEEZED, and there is a person standing in the kitchen making less than minimum wage squeezing the oranges for me, then I am cool with the pulp. But if I buy it from a store shelf and there is pulp in there, then that tells me that the juice company is lazy and decided to NOT finish their job. They can get all the pesticides and other microscopic crap out of there, but they can't get the massive lumps of orange carcass out? Come on people, finish your damn job! I'm not entirely sure but I actually don't think it's at all true that the with-pulp packaged products are the lazy solution. I think it's a bit of a trick from a product stability standpoint and from a texture standpoint as well to be able to squeeze, freeze and reconstitute a juice and pulp product that tastes fresh and has the mouthfeel of a fresh-squeezed product. Then again, as a Florida resident, I am also an unwitting shill for the citrus industry, so there you go.

QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Sep 27, 2007 -> 07:17 AM) I'm lucky I guess, my wife LOVES Vertigo, and pretty much all things Hitch. You are lucky. I tried to get my wife to watch The Trouble With Harry last year—I told her it was a great dark comedy and one of my favorite Hitchcock flicks so she agreed. She fell asleep about 15 minutes in.

I say let him wear the Cubs logo proudly. With slight modifications of course. Come on Brew Crew, pick it up and keep the Century of Futility alive on th North Side.

QUOTE(longshot7 @ Sep 26, 2007 -> 06:21 PM) My fav Hitch as well. I made my girlfriend see it at the theatre last year, and she HATED it. threatened to throw her shoe at the screen. Women.......I swear. I look up. . . I look down. I look up. . . I look down. I'm going to go right out and buy me a nice, tall stepladder. Damn, I love that film. I Love the Stewart version of The Man Who Knew Too Much as well, but Vertigo beats it out. Great, great film.

QUOTE(Texsox @ Sep 26, 2007 -> 03:05 PM) NSS, that makes a lot of sense, I know many times it is only later, when I'm driving or such that I think, what the hell was Kap thinking? I'm thinking about getting that printed up on T-shirts.

QUOTE(hitlesswonder @ Sep 26, 2007 -> 10:23 AM) So, who to believe -- a US senator with no reason to be biased or a scientist whose job depends on getting you to believe in global warming and giving him money to study it. Hmmmmm. You didn't honestly keep a straight face when you typed that, did you?
