The current bickering in this thread notwithstanding it has NOT devolved into total ripfest as the MLB thread has. That thread I would have killed a long while back. I'm not sure why Alerity hasn't yet, but I'm sure it will happen.

I agree. I'm not sure what the boys are thinking with the new EP of cover tunes, but I haven't heard much of it yet so I'll reserve judgement.

Semi-serious suggestion: You're 23 or 24 right? Well, it might be a stretch but maybe you can BLAME YOUR MOM. That would certainly work if you were only 18 or 19 at any rate. Tell her your mom will flip out if you guys start living together. Screw honesty in a relationship and all that.. More serious suggestion: There are some upsides to moving in together right off the bat IF you think she'll get in there eventually. If at the outset you each have a bedroom, etc, and (more importantly) it is clear how much of the rent you'll both be paying you at least have some of that stuff settled. If she has a place and ends up spending most of her time at your place eventually, she'll be paying rent there and so won't be paying for your place. Nor will she have any space of her own staked out for herself and her stuff... In truth it's completely up to you. If she gets so bent out of shape about not being invited to live with you that it threatens the relationship, that is somewhat telling. If she's never lived with anyone before she may have some of the same feelings, so talk to her and (forget what I said about honesty above) tell her what you're thinking. I made a huge move from Illinois to Florida after college with a girlfriend. We found a place and moved in together, and down the line it blew up in our face. It turns out she was actually a spul-devouring demon spawn dressed in human skin and everybody but me knew it at the time though, so it all worked out good in the end. The next person I lived with eventually took leave of her senses after a couple of years and married me, so it can lead to good things too.

But a fairly scathing bipartisan report nonetheless is another blow to the credibility of Tenet, the CIA, and the administration. The adminsitration has some room to distance themselves from allegations of intentionally misleading the public by blaming intelligence, and scapegoat Tenet's resignation takes affect Sunday. Still, there continues to be this insistance within the administration that the massive intelligence failure and the flawed justification for war is just not a big deal... How can someone straight-faced equate WANTING weapons of mass destruction and HAVING them and expect it to wash? The story says the report goes into some datail on how the bad intelligence led analysts to "inflate snippets of questionable information into broad declarations that Iraq had chemical and biological weapons." The two examples they provided of this are below.

Are you speculating? I don't know how much sex of any kind he was having at the time, he was pretty sick in 1990. His wife knew he was very sick in 1990 but they never tested to be sure, she took care of him and all that. And though it was most likely extracurricular sex that gave him the disease I don't know that he continued to sleep around after getting sick. I dunno, It's just a slimy thing for NE to have done.
