    Bath towels

those numbers are too low, do people really wash a towel each time they use it?
  3. SEASON G AB R H 2B HR RBI BB SO SB CS AVG OBP SLG OPS 2005 103 369 69 100 19 4 21 51 59 36 10 .271 .371 .371 .742 2005 129 507 80 147 28 0 25 47 75 59 23 .290 .351 .349 .700 Last season stats When scottys healthy hes an impact player at the top of the line up, he steals tons of bases and is a solid average hitter. When hes not healthy he is greatly hindered, but Scotty was one of the best leadoff hitters in baseball for most of last season and Scotty>Freel
  4. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Apr 10, 2006 -> 01:33 PM) Not at all. I prefer a classic jersey as opposed to this new age stuff (such as the hats that are weird colors; I understand pink for ladies but thats it). not feeling it, I agree
  5. Freddy Garcia Freddy is a power pitcher and his numbers looked much better. I think he'll be fine this year. He proved his importance in big games last year and especially in the post season. Brandon McCarthy I like McCarthy's work in the bullpen and hes going to be important but I think Politte or Cotts will step it up to fill the middle reliever role and let McCarthy stick to longer outings. Scott Podsednik Pods stinks right now but hell turn it around. Have faith and let him keep playing. Hes a lot of the reason that we arent manufacturing runs as well. I dont think were relying on home runs, we just havent had many clutch hits. Pods will start swinging and the offense will be able to generate. ALthough Paulie and Thome will hit their fair share of homers
  6. glad to see Freddy and Bobby pitching pretty well (or at least their lines looked good I didnt get to watch the game) Paulie and Thome in the middle of the order is dangerous Have faith, Pods will come along soon
  7. QUOTE(chiguy79 @ Apr 10, 2006 -> 02:44 PM) 4 hrs only 7 rbis... the MVP talk would be more likely if Pods would get on base and increase that RBI total. yeah Pods is cutting down on his production, but Thome has been a beast no question Id rather have Thome than Thomas (thomas is still a greater injury threat) and Chicago is starting to love Thome He may not win MVP but hes going to be huge for us this year. Once Paulie starts connecting a little more and if Pods gets on ever, we are dangerous at bat
  8. I believe at some point this offseason or last year Buehrle said he would be very happy to end his career with the White Sox, however I do not remeber where I saw that
  9. st. louis dispath boldly claims also includes link that would be a sad day, but I think we'll keep Mark in silver and black
  10. QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Apr 9, 2006 -> 09:45 PM) Don't mean to side track this thread, but this is kind of related. Now that the gates are opening earlier, has anyone been able to catch the Sox taking bp this season? Thx. I saw some sox BP opening day. It was just the end of it though (and I got in as the gates opened). are the gates consistently opening earlier or was that an opening series-lots of people thing? I dont but I dont think theres anything wrong with bringing a mitt, (especially if you get a ball)

QUOTE(T R U @ Apr 9, 2006 -> 08:10 PM) Man if you dont like the red chewy kind, you are missing out my friend eating the red chewy kind as we speak
  12. looks like he's sucking it in there, doesnt look like he lost weight but its great news that his velocity is at or around 100.
  13. you can get autographs sometimes standing on the west side of the sox dugout but you have to be there real early and sometimes the security wont let you be there. You can always get Man Soo's autograph! Its almost hard to go to a white sox game and not get his autograph.
  14. I like the Stewie impersonation
  15. QUOTE(SnB @ Apr 9, 2006 -> 11:30 AM) america should adopt the term 'wanker' agreed
  16. They are not getting the big hits with men in scoring position, but I dont think thats something you need to be concerned at right now. We are behind a few games which is never good, but we have a lot of games to make up a little room, once a few balls roll our way with runners on then we will win more games. Guys have hit the ball hard with runners on but we just havent got lucky.
  17. if that trade doesnt go through (finger crossed) then I'd just keep playing him, he'll come around and I dont think benching him or putting him down will help much. He is an integral piece of the Sox's success
  18. Tigers are good, but they were also really hot to start the season Bonderman v. Freddy will be ugly if Freddy doesnt find his groove, but if we play well we can definitely beat the Tigers
  19. just saw shelton went 0-4 with 3 Ks today down to a measly .583
  20. Chris Shelton AVG .636 | HR 5 | RBI 9 | OBP .667 | SLG 1.591 nasty
  21. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Apr 9, 2006 -> 03:30 PM) Nice to go into Detroit with a win on there shoulders. yeah. detriot is rolling shelton is hot
  22. We are two hits from being 4-2 this year Javy and Mark have been very impressive
  23. solid game today, great to see Mark rolling and Thome's homer
