There is a Joe Winkelsas in the independent league stats, one team his ERA was over 14, the other was over 7. Why the hell did we sign this joker? Some names from last year not on rosters, Paul Moviel (guess his kid brother did not sign so we cut him) and Dario Ortiz.

Scarpetta. I doubt he signs. My guess is the JC guys will be D&F candidates, the rest will likely not be signed. We have quite full rosters in Great Falls and Bristol.

Ricks is on the roster for Great Falls, but I think it is just a matter of him finishing the season. Before everyone gets too excited, I think the Sox drafted with idea they wanted to draft guys with easy signability. We took a lot of college players. My guess is the quality of draftees per round for us went down from last year, but I am still happy.

Brando, you are way too tough on the kids. Give Nanita a chance, I promise you he does not suck. Sweeney I think they pushed to hard. I think Sweeney belongs at Kanny with Nanita. They do not all turn out, but we have some good kids, try to get a bit more positive eh. :-)

Thought same thing the other day, must be on DL. Like seeing Nachreiner in relief, we need explosive arms in the pen. He walked 4 in his 2 innings, but no hits is cool.

We went for it last year, Francisco, maybe Rupe will be only 2 we may ever miss. Cannot look back at that and question it.

I have seen Rex call him a bulldog, not the greatest stuff, but he gets it done and competes hard.
