If he replaces Walker in Boston, let me be the first to say he hits .275 with 20-25 homers.

Would make Izturis available. -
Dransfeldt in no way is replacing Graffy, if we lose Graffy we need a replacement, not this guy, no friggin way he is worthy of replacing Graffy.
-
I agree, not bad for a good #4 starter who can work up higher in rotation with another year or two experience. Not everyone gets it together in one or two years.
-
These guys are just AA and AAA roster fill, nothing more nothing less.
-
Lackaff is one of our best fielding infielders, he was a very clutch hitter too his first season. I had very high expectations before he had bad knee injury, then he missed most of next season hurt again. Just seems to be injury prone, otherwise I liked him better than Hummel.
-
Dransfeldt cannot field with Dellaero, and cannot hit much better. But he will be better than Nunez was at SS for Charlotte, if he makes roster in Chicago, we are hurting. Saw Mike Bell in Tucson last spring training, he was ok, but he will not make the team either. All AAA roster fill
-
Agree, take a shot with him, now if we added 5 FAs and needed one spot, he could be released. Someone mentioned 4 openings yet on the 40-man, I like that, that means we may be aggressive.
-
s***, if his price drops everyone is interested in him, not like it would be just us jumping on the wagon.
-
Rauch was NEVER considered a power pitcher, not even in his one great season. None of the scouting reports out of college even listed him as a power pitcher.
-
Rex, having fun are ya?
-
Just say no to Sidney Ponson, my guess is he is a rotator cuff surgery within next full season, supposedly it is already frayed.

I thought I read that Borchard is getting married this winter and turned down winter ball to the chagrin of the brass. -
Man, I do not think of it as being stuck with Jose, he is a gamer. He has had a tremendous year defensively. I will keep him and spend money to keep others. Hell with Tejada
-
Should have posted Dunn's AAA ERA for Angels, worse than Francisco's AA ERA.
-
Jiminez was the worst 'baseball' player I have ever witnessed, Rios not far behind. How Rios could swing at that first pitch when pinch hitting for ARow on Sunday is beyond me. Nothing wrong with swinging at first pitch if it is one you can handle. Stupid baseball.

Reed was one of 10 nominees, but Mauer won it.
-
I disagree, keep Jose for 2-3 more years, and spend money on pitching, pitching and pitching. After 2-3 years Valido or someone else will be available.
-
My guess is we could lose Majewski, Ulacia and possibly Fields to Rule V draft this year.

Majewski ERA in 2nd half of season must have been outstanding, he was over 6 with quite a few innings.
