I'm a Euromutt. Dad's side is English,French,Irish Mom's side is Dutch,German,Hungarian. Dont know the percentages but that is what my history project in 11th grade was about.

I'm happy this week is here for 2 reasons: 1. This team will get worked over and be 5 games out and I can be happy that its now football season or... 2. This team will have a great trip, pull within a game of first and give us hope(probably false) for the last month of the season. I said it before, the Tigers and Sox arent going to win this division by winning. One of these teams will lose it by losing 10 of 15 and this road trip could be our chance to lose it.

Zook had zero control of the Florida program while head coach. The guy showed up at a frat house with players to pick a fight, who does that? But Urb shouldnt have said this to a newspaper since Urb's players have been running wild on the streets of Gainesville too. Maybe Meyer shouldve said this about 5 years ago instead of now. Doesnt surprise me that he did because he comes across like a major dick.

This team isnt going to beat out the Tigers by playing well down the stretch. Neither team is good actually and each team is basically waiting for one team to lose 10 of 15 to win this division. It wont come from one team playing well enough to deserve the title.

Landon played the game with swine flu. Felt a little sick in Miami and got tested. Found out yesterday that it was the swine flu. Sucks because he might not have gotten blown by during the run that made it 2-1 if he was 100%.

Really looked like after the first goal we were trying to save our legs. I know hindsight is 20/20 but I really wish we would have gone for broke after it was 1-0 instead of bunkering down. If we couldve pushed it to 2-0, I'm sure Mexico wouldve had a huge meltdown. After Mexico tied it, I was just waiting for the 2nd goal to come before the half but was surprised we held it off. Oh well, I'm not going to get worked up over this one. Once again, both teams held serve in qualifying.
