  3. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ May 11, 2013 -> 10:18 AM) I remember when the Hawks were about 18 deep into their season opening streak and ESPN wrote an article that the Mighty Blues would be the team that would end up dethroning them in the playoffs Whoops A lot of people liked the Blues. They just got matched up with a team that is perfect for playoff hockey. I'd still put that at the third best team in the West when it comes to the playoff teams.

    2013 TV Thread

    24 may be coming back!
  5. Yeah I'm pretty sure Reimer's wife was staring at the guy who stood up. He must have said something.
  6. Pine Hills, where this house is, is commonly known as Crime Hills in Orlando. I'm not going to compare that area to major city areas but I feel a little nervous if I'm cutting through there during the day. No way would I venture in that area at night.
  7. wow, the Sens tie it in last minute to force OT. Price may have hurt himself on the last play of regulation too.
  8. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ May 7, 2013 -> 09:07 PM) Forget that boredom in Queens, this game in Long Island is fun. yeah it is. The Islanders have no quit in them. And Pittsburgh has some major problems with Fleury. and lol at the Penguins pinning the Isles player in the Pittsburgh bench and not letting him out.
  9. QUOTE (fathom @ May 7, 2013 -> 08:05 PM) Let's hope JA Happ is ok after getting hit in the head with a line drive. wow, I was watching it live that that is so scary. Hope everything is ok. Good to see that he was atleast moving his arms and appeared to be communicating while being stretchered off.
  10. wow, awesome win for you Bulls fans. That is what Chicago needed tonight. Everyone knew Miami was going to be a little rusty and the Bulls took advantage of it. Gotta take advantage of every opportunity that comes their way.
  11. QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ May 6, 2013 -> 08:31 AM) And PK Subban is the biggest p**** in the NHL. Acts like the biggest tough guy in the world when the linesmen are around and when they're not he goes and suckers players like Kyle Turris into a fight and then proceeds to keep throwing punches well after they're on the ground with the linesman between them. Yeah he is and I cant believe he has so many fans. I bet he use to punch kids in school and run to the teacher to be protected. I remember last year him throwing a forearm to the head of Krejci and then turtles when Ference steps up. Then laughs and talks s*** when the ref is between them. He'll get his one day for being such a classless b****.
  12. QUOTE (Reddy @ May 3, 2013 -> 10:41 PM) totally. that doesn't mean he doesn't regret making it on some level. how do you know if he's even regretting it?
  13. Montreal was straight up dirty. I was hoping Ottawa would pull Anderson late when they had the PP and face off in the Montreal zone with like 20 seconds. The Walrus got a good laugh tonight. Bourque needs to be suspended for that elbow at the end. No room for cheap shots like that, even if no damage was done.
  14. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ May 5, 2013 -> 09:10 PM) Desperate home team came to play, Hawks were lucky to get to OT. That's playoff hockey, just win game 4 or s*** will get interesting. Islanders got screwed on that OT penalty, brutal. gotta protect Sid man I know the Senators werent angels but the Canadiens were flat out acting like b****es tonight. Prust going after little Conacher. Subban throwing punches while laying on top of a guy. Georges firing a puck at an Ottawa player as time expires. Michel Therrien acts like a douche when his team is winning and then cries when the tables are turned.
  15. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ May 4, 2013 -> 01:08 AM) Might be some busted up store fronts in Vancouver tonight. Ouch. that last 90 seconds sums up the Canucks. Miss an empty netter by like 10ft and then give up the softest of goals 30 seconds later. I think that team has sucked the life out of their fans the past couple of seasons. So no more rioting
  16. QUOTE (RockRaines @ May 3, 2013 -> 10:37 AM) She auditioned. Comcast knew those videos were out there too. It's bulls*** she got fired. Totally agree that it is bulls*** that they fired over a slip of the tongue. There has to be more to the story than just blaming those unfunny and dumb videos. CSN must have wanted her out for awhile and jumped at the opportunity.
  17. wow after watching those two Sports Nutz videos on the Deadspin comments section, I'm certain she sucked her way to a job at CSN. Those videos were horrible.
  18. Not dead yet but Amanda Bynes is heading for a spot on this thread. seen her recent twitter pics? yikes
  19. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Apr 30, 2013 -> 07:48 PM) Public schools are secular institutions that should not be promoting any particular religion over others our no religion at all. And for the majority of schools, they arent promoting religion when it comes to these activities(the ones that do should be told to stop). Then again, somehow Christmas tree cookies and Santa cookies have become religious symbols. I hope the same people are protesting Halloween and St Patrick's Day activities in schools.
  20. QUOTE (CrimsonWeltall @ Apr 30, 2013 -> 02:16 PM) It often is in this country. Just declare something "sacred" and you shield it from criticism. Except for Christmas parties in schools.
  21. QUOTE (CrimsonWeltall @ Apr 30, 2013 -> 02:44 PM) His opinion of sports, not his religious opinion. "New York team sells arena naming rights to Chicago's Superdawg" Sports opinion: The extra revenue will be good for the team. Sports opinion: New Yorkers may be upset that the name was sold to a Chicago business. Sports opinion: Superdawg Arena is a really lame name. Not a sports opinion: The team owner is going to go to hell for promoting pork products that the Lord says are unclean. ESPN knew what they were doing with Broussard. Out of all people to ask this question to, why Broussard? Because they knew what his answer was going to be and it would be a lightning rod for attention.
