Easy way to start an argument in Chicago.
I don't like Lou Malnatti's deep dish. If they didn't top it w/ tomato, it'd be perfect. His brother is also a teacher at New Trier

Home Run Hitters...
I really hope Pujols breaks Bonds' record

Cubs Lose, Its Bush's Fault
Good point. I bet the boo birds will get to a point however, where management will be forced to do something, maybe 10-15 years down the road when the tide turns and this becomes a Sox town.

Victor Zambrano of the Mets...
That sucks for the Mets. Is he by any chance related to the Cubs Zambrano?

Is D Lee that important
A guy who has been claimed off waivers 2x this season

ACT Jitters
I prepared for my ACT by getting SAT QOD emailed to me everyday, and I worked on increasing my reading speed, by reading articles. I would read an article one day, time myself. Next day, read that same article, time myself. If you read things over and over, you get faster, b/c later, I would read articles of similar length and I was reading them faster, too.

Cubs Lose, Its Bush's Fault
That's not true. They boo all the time. At least that's what I've seen when watching the games on the idiot box

Is D Lee that important
Well right now he goes 1. Pierre (CF) 2. Cedeno (SS) 3. Walker (1B) 4. Ramirez (3B) 5. Murton (LF) 6. Jones (RF) 7. Barrett © 8. Hairston (2B) 9. Pitcher If you put Ramirez in the 3 hole and Murton behind him, he might get some better pitches. And then if you put Walker in the 6 hole, Barrett, Jones and Hairston also get some better pitches to hit. While his injury definatly is a blow, IMO he still has the peices to contend, but he just doesn't use them right.

Is D Lee that important
It's b/c Dusty is a moron. He prefers unproductive veterens over young players. He should construct his lineup like this: 1. Pierre (CF) 2. Cedeno (SS) 3. Ramirez (3B) 4. Murton (LF) 5. Barrett © 6. Walker (1B) 7. Hairston (2B) 8. Jones (RF) 9. Pitcher He has the players to do it w/o Lee, but he's stupid

Tyson Chandler
I'd rather have him than Eddy Curry and Elton Brand

Ozzie and the ASG
What about the 8 back-ups for position players that are voted by coaches and players? We've got a 32 man roster, 9 players voted by fans, 8 more by players and coaches. That's 15 players left.

All-Star Balloting Begins

I like this skin.

Ozzie and the ASG
IDK, b/c on the NL final-man ballot, it was all pitchers. It depends. And b/c of the stupid rule every team needs a rep, Ozzie will have to make lone-rep picks before he can stack it w/ his guys, which will likely be 1 or 2.

All-Star Balloting Begins
I agree. I think the AL OF should be Manny, Damon, and Vlad, Pujols at 1B for the NL, and Barrett at C for the NL.

Crede, Long term deal?
Where's Adrian Beltre on that list?? He has a 5-year, 64M deal

Pujols, God's gift to hitting
500th POST!!!
-
Ozzie and the ASG
When all is said and done, Ozzie gets to pick 7 players I think, 4 pitchers and 3 position players, or the other way around, depending on the final man ballot.
-
Pujols, God's gift to hitting
Okay, it didn't sound clear from your post. He definatly will, since he'll play much more than Bonds.
-
Pujols, God's gift to hitting
Barring a freak injury of course. But I see no way he walks 232+ times and still goes yard 80 times. Maybe 150-180, but defintly not over 200.

All-Star Balloting Begins
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ MLB used to have a vote for DH on the AL ballot even when the ASG was in an NL ballpark, which was quite stupid if you ask me, although I think the DH should be in the NL as well.
-
Ozzie and the ASG
Thome is not on the AL Ballot, and if you want to write him in at 1B, then you can't vote for Konerko.
