That is nice, but the fact that Davis and Thomas had to be included to make the deal work. I don't understand why? They're both making about 14M this year and have expiring contracts. Why would they have to be traded to make money equal? The draft picks are nice. I hope they suck real bad this year and we get a pick in addition to ours. And then next year, I hope they get the # 1 pick, so we can excerise our option to swap picks with them.

Couldn't they sue you over this? I would if my employer was a Cubs fan who blocked access to White Sox stuff but allowed access to Cubs stuff. I think it's got to be both ways, either allow everyone access, or allow no one access. Just my 2 cents.

I think Prior's elbow is screwed that he can't ever pitch again, and the Cubs are just trying to cover it up, looking to buy themselves time before they have to come clean.

I think it's from his heavy pounding in 2003. He and Wood were 1-2 that year in pitches thrown. Prior was 240 pitches behind Wood, and missed 3 starts. I really think something is wrong. Why else was he on the trading block this winter?
