Carol Slezak on acid
Not to mention Ryan Sandberg, Billy Williams, and Ron Santo (other Cubs players who have had their jersey retired). Even Mark Grace. He left on bad terms, but it was management who treated him like a piece of s***. Sosa, on the other hand deserved to be treated like a piece of s***.

A-Rod
Well Thome is 5 years older than A-Rod. A-Rod is still in his prime.

A-Rod
He ahsn't had any serious injuries so far.

Drew Brees
No. Orton is the answer. Sign Randle El, use the 1st round pick on a TE, don't draft any WR or QB's, and get some depth on the lines and in the secondary.

A-Rod
Vote. I say yes, since he's got 429 right now, is in his prime, and has been the youngest to reach 100, 200, 300, 400, plus he's got 5 more years on his contract.

Will Barry Bonds Surpass Hank Aaron?
I don't think Bonds' record will be the one that stands. I think A-Rod has a legitamite shot at 800. He's been the youngest to 100, 200, 300, 400. I would make Bonds pay much more than an arm or a leg for it though, b/c he is a prick, selfish, greedy, racist, and anything else mean you can come up with. A-Rod I would also make pay big. He plays for the Yankees, has the biggest contract in baseball, has an agent who is a dick.

Will Barry Bonds Surpass Hank Aaron?
He already has the BB and IBB season records. I think he's the all-time leader in BB.

Will Barry Bonds Surpass Hank Aaron?
Option 1: You throw it into Waveland Ave for the ballahwks, and get the s*** beaten out out of you. Option 2: You keep it to make $$$, and get the s*** beaten out of you for not throwing it back Option 3: You go with tradition, throw it back, and get the s*** beaten out of you for throwing it away. Option 4: You're a Gaints fan there, you catch it, and you get the s*** beaten out of you for going to root for the enemy. True story at a Cubs game I went to, Cubs-Pirates game, sat in the bleachers. This is a few years back. Aramis Ramirez (when he was still w/ the Pirates) hit a HR. A Pirates fan caught it, about 5 rows below me. Didn't throw it back. This Cubs fan who had been crazy all game, shirtless, drunk, called the beer man a f*****, was told by his wife to sit down and behave himself, beat him up, for not throwing it back. Pulled the ball loose, threw it to home on a 1-hop. Got ejected. Before he left, he's like "ALL RIGHT! HOUSTON BEAT THE s*** OUT OF ST. LOUIS!

ESPN NBA trade machine
I realized that. I just find it funny that if trades in the NBA were made based soley on money, that this guy could give us so much.

ESPN NBA trade machine
I traded Tom Thomas for Kevin Garnett, Shaq, Kobe, Iverson, Carter, T-Mac, and other big name starts with mega contracts. I had to package a couple other guys (Basden, Allen) to make it work, but I can't believe how useful he was in this.

Man. I didn't think Tim Thomas would be this valueable. I traded him to Cleveland for LeBron James, Zydrunus Ilguaskus, and Mike Wilks.

Yes. I tried just Thomas and Basden for the Wallace Brothers, and I had to add said players in above post to make the deal work.

Cubs, White Sox, & Red Sox scouting Juan Gone
He would be a good signing for any team if it was the minimum pay w/ incintives. Low-risk, high-reward. He's hurt, oh well, 400,000. He must be b****ing right now about turning down that 8 year 148M contract.

- ESPN Report: Sham-me Sosa Retires
I'm not saying that. I'm saying his decline started when he collided with Bellhorn. No doubt in my mind he was a juicer. - ESPN Report: Sham-me Sosa Retires
