  1. Very True. But i'm looking at the long haul here. We lose Reed or one of those guys and in 2 years Johnson is retired
  2. Well if you say so..... Pardon me... I know s*** about this
  3. Not for a 40 yr old. Johnson may be good but he's 40
  4. Problem is Wright really doesn't have another Pitch except for the Curveball and it's not very good. Can he comeback? Yes he maybe can learn to pitch and get people out Being a Junkballer (Term for soft throwing and curveball righthanded Pitchers) but it's gonna be dificult. It even could help Danny. Former Sox Pitcher Roberto Hernandez had TJ and threw hard when he came back and pitch for a bunch of years more
  5. Another Victim of Nardi. Nardi messed that guy up and that's why he lost his fastball and eventually got injured. Wright = TOAST!
  6. I'm not ready to give up any of those guys. But he's not tailing off. The Guy is a hell of a player and a 5 tool player too.

    Schmidt?

Sheesh Brando is anybody gonna convince you. You get a negative on every player mentioned in trades. You said that about schimdt said Beltran is tailing off.. So then who would ya like for this team to pickup???I'm not knocking ya but I'm just asking cause i'm confused.
  8. He's Beginning to WHAT????? LOL!!!!!! If that's tailing off then...... And About the Yankee thing it's probably his Agent Bora$$ saying those things to open the market. Damn now i know a 27 yr old starts to tail off...
  9. No way we give Anderson and Honel to the Royals for Beltran. He won't re-sign with the SOx
  10. Would rather get Benson and try to re-sign him. Sele has been far from Solid the few last years
  11. Good Points, Just what i Meant too
  12. Aaron Sele Sucks EOS! He's always hurt and is old. No need for him, he'll implode
  13. Well who else?? Chip's Daddy Skip. Joe Simpson (Former Royal), Don Sutton and Pete Van Warren. And as for Thorne, i think he's good, i think he has a good voice. I was saying Buck cause of his voice and how the broadcast sounds not for anything else. I forgot Uecker... Juaaaaaaaaaasssssssssstttt a bit outside!! And if you wanna talk about Basketball broadcasters, Marv ALberts Rulez!
  14. TV. Hawk spend some time with the Yanks after being fired as GM. In the Early 80's Hawk did the games With Don Drysdale (Whom was his best friend until Drysdale passed a few years back) I remember that game when he got the wire it was on WGN and he says real happy ESPN radio is reporting and he read it and just broke down.
  15. Thorne worked for the Sox Early 90's late 80's
  16. I'll make a small list of worst and Best IMO. TV or Radio Best: Vin Scully John Rooney Spaceman Bill Lee (Expos Color man on Radio) I think he's wacky Mel Allen Joe Buck Harry Carey (In his good times) Steve Stone (Not the best but not bad, knows the game, shuts up trap mouth Chimp) Jon Miller Gary Thorne (Ex Sox and now mets, Great at hockey) Worst: Chip Joe Carter Chris Berman Rick Sutcliffe Steve Lyons Tony Gwynn (whinny Voice) Harold Reynolds Joe Morgan (Thinks he knows it all) Tim Mccarver Jim Kaat Ron Santo Susan Whatever her name is for the yanks

  19. That opinion was Stupid and Off base. He knows nothing. It's sooooo stupid make a thread for a guy who got his first ML start and he's allready being compared to DannyWrong. Sheesh
  20. That shows us how much you know about baseball MORON!
  21. Actually yes. He went 12-2 in 1994 but 8-15 with a 7.70 ERAin 1995 due to a busted elbow, came back in 1997 after surgery but couldn't throw strikes and the Sox released him and Cincinatti signed him and then was picked up by the Brewers that same year or next. (I'm saying all this of off my head)
  22. As i said i hope for Diaz = Bere 1993, 1994. I just hope he doesn't imploed like bere in 1995
