  1. Great conclusion Wong. In the end we disagree, but this form of debate was highly effective in my opinion. I don't believe the federal government was formed in the hopes to one day collect tax money from the average U.S. citizen in order to fund the promotion of the Arts. I think it's would be in our best interests for the government to have guidelines to how that money should be spent, but I believe the financial burden belongs on a unchecked industry that self-appluads itself but ultimately fails to act. good night, and good luck. San Demis football rules!

  6. In conclusion... If the people who make millions, wait...billions, on the art they create can't fund the education and promotion of new art, why the hell should we ask the average middle class tax payer to foot the bill? and I heard Wong & Owens drowns puppies on the weekends.

  13. turns out that Mexico makes coke with sugar cane (which is infinitely better) and the US makes it with Corn Syrup. I loved going to mexico and getting soda. Their ice cream was also better. don't know why.

  17. QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Jan 30, 2006 -> 05:09 PM) Those are cool. A local drug store in my town had one up to like 5 years ago. There used to be one at my Grandmother's church in Lousiana. It was a neat part of the sunday morning ritual.
  18. I want one of those machines that opens in the front with a glass door and you pay and it allows you to take one. I'd buy a bunch of glass bottle cokes.
  19. I think it's like modern english... "Everywhere I go...you go...I need to...." I don't know what that song is called or much of the lyrics, but it's 80s sounding. Post your requests in this thread if you don't know what a song is called or who it's by.
  20. did you see her last night on the SAG awards? her teeth are normal now.
  21. did you notice this guy's home state? *sigh* friggin' keystone staters...
  22. QUOTE(3E8 @ Jan 30, 2006 -> 01:20 PM) That's a good question that I can't find an answer to in the FAQ. you'd still have to pay royalties, if you get the licensing, but as long as it's your own "arrangement" I don't see why you wouldn't get $. That's how it would work on a record. The difficult part would be guessing how many times the song would be downloaded. With a record, the amount you pay for say 500 pieces is different than 50,000.
  23. QUOTE(jasonxctf @ Jan 30, 2006 -> 02:29 PM) who is he racist against? common sense and not being an idiot.
