  1. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jan 30, 2008 -> 12:31 PM) No straight male authored this study, that is for sure. It must have been an exausting research project for you...
  2. QUOTE(Texsox @ Jan 30, 2008 -> 12:06 PM) Congrats you are now at 2 stars. Someone plays with it, somehow I have 4 stars. thanks. I've also had 129 profile views. dang. *blushing* I never knew I was so well liked!
  3. QUOTE(StrangeSox @ Jan 30, 2008 -> 12:02 PM) Polar bears were there because Dharma was trying to "climatize" them to the tropics for some reason. Who knows about the black smoke. Hasn't made many appearances lately, but it is still around. yeah, bears were part of the "tests" that were occurring on the island. black smoke is part of the defense system created on the island by the Dharma Initiative.
  4. Does anyone really use the soxtalk "rating system" built into the message board functions? apparently someone thinks I'm 1 out of 5 stars. I think you're being kind...
  5. QUOTE(iamshack @ Jan 29, 2008 -> 11:53 PM) Yes! Finally! Glad to see someone is awake! I was giving Rex a chance to shine...
  6. QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Jan 29, 2008 -> 06:35 PM) I do think it was a nice thing...then I saw in the subtitle that whoever votes for me might want to diddle the doodle. Then I realized you're all a bunch of sick loons. ah yes, I see that now. pervs
  7. QUOTE(SoxAce @ Jan 29, 2008 -> 06:30 PM) Probably when he stabbs you in the back. Too bad some can't change their vote. I don't really know what that means, but any heckler of Pratt is a friend of mine.
  8. QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Jan 29, 2008 -> 06:10 PM) I was going to vote for myself, but then I realized I get to take advantage of myself whenever I want. I think you're thinking of the "drunk poster award"... this award is for posters that you'd most like to go out for a drink with. so I think it's supposed to be a positive thing...unless you like to take advantage of your drinking buddy.
  9. So when do we find out that Pratt spammed the universe for votes?
  10. So...Huckabee's out... Do you think he'd be a good VP for McCain?
  11. Is this where I post my shameless plug? Vote for me and all of your hopes and dreams will come true. Forward this message onto 8 friends and you will find your true love in 24 hours.
  12. QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ Jan 29, 2008 -> 02:47 PM) No predictions yet? We should have made some sort of pool out of predicting the primaries. Could have been fun. Oh well. My picks for FL... McCain: 33% Romney: 32% Huckabee: 19% Giuliani: 11% Paul: 5% Huckabee surprises a bit with a 3rd place finish. Giuliani fails, and drops out immediately after. Romney and McCain in a very tight race - could go either way. I am guessing McCain by a hair. "by a hair"... nice pun I think McCain will tap into his 178 years of life experience and snake out a win. I think he'll put up the best resistence against the Dem candidate anyway.
  13. The Donk Not just nickname for your junk anymore... SFW. and also for SWFans
  14. I love that I can't visit Myspace and Facebook, but I can pretty much see the rest of the world via internet.
  15. is the answer being a latino or black woman?
  16. I just got approved for this program. basically, 1)you visit businesses, 2)get them to fill out a card, 3)take a picture of their storefront 4)and submit it to google 5) Google approves the business and you get paid (2 bucks a bizness). 6) Google then sends those businesses a post card to verfity info. 7) Business sends back response card (hopefully) 8) Google then pays you again (8 bucks per verified business) 9) you get monthly checks I know there will be naysayers, but imagine a shopping center filled with 10-15 businesses. That's potentially 150 bucks right there. It may take you an hour to hit all of those and then maybe an hour for submitting info, uploading pictures, and contacting businesses to make sure they respond to the card. 2 hours for anywhere up to a $75 an hour. The key is in the success rate. thoughts?
  17. QUOTE(Brian @ Jan 29, 2008 -> 05:07 PM) What's the difference? Myspace: allows for HTML manipulation, which leads to obnoxious user sites. Has spam out the wazoo. Is the perceivable trashier social site. Is all about promoting things. Facebook: you can interlink between people much better via pictures and friends lists, less customization, but more built in functions, classier spam *ahem*, same amount of bros holding beers and babes showing bras. they accomplish the same thing, but both have their pros and cons.
  18. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Jan 29, 2008 -> 04:44 PM) I cheated by watching episodes 1-16 of season 3 this weekend. explicable, then.
  19. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Jan 29, 2008 -> 04:15 PM) and scored 100 percent and you remain "inexplicably infallible" for one more day
  20. QUOTE(Soxy @ Jan 29, 2008 -> 03:17 PM) Okay, no win for me. I had one student last semester. Always came to office hours. I literally kept a zip up hoodie by my desk for when he visited. Kid was one of the worst gawkers I've had. Dad?
  21. 6 of ten. I can't wait for this show to start! when is the premier?
  22. QUOTE(Brian @ Jan 28, 2008 -> 11:03 PM) Aren't they the same thing pretty much? no.
  23. P.S. Just got back from a weekend in Disney. 4 parks in one day because one of our friend's works at the resort = free park hopper tickets. Me and the wife stayed at Coronado Springs. Nice Place. I had stayed at Saratoga Springs before.
  24. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jan 24, 2008 -> 04:20 PM) The new Gatorade G2s are awesome. It's weird...the commercial with the basketball court forming under the guy's shoes as he walks is used for another commercial, but which one?
