  1. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Jan 23, 2008 -> 05:49 PM) Yeah I think it's going to be another decent day for us down here when the market opens in 5. Also did I read this right (saw this on reuters headlines); * Bank of America Corp said net income in the fourth quarter tumbled 95 percent, to $268 million, or 5 cents a share, from $5.26 billion, or $1.16, a year earlier. that's interesting, because my bank's stock did VERY well today.
  2. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Jan 23, 2008 -> 05:37 PM) Do you know PA that the sheep to human ratio in New Zealand is at least 10:1. As for those names, well I have no idea what you're going with there. Is that what they called them in the Amish Farms? you're clearly the sheep expert, not me
  3. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Jan 23, 2008 -> 05:22 PM) Never been, but a lot of people rave about New Zealand and the scenery, beautiful mountains etc. Personally, too many sheep for my liking though. you got your eyes on a special one, eh? Shetland or Katahdin ? I won't judge you. wait, you're Australian, not Irish.
  4. QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Jan 23, 2008 -> 04:41 PM) At some point.... there is going to be a guy that has had enough and violence will happen....Not saying Id support it but these people are basicly asking for it. hopefully not...as we all know what happens when ignorant people are fueled by violence and the idea of revenge. *yes, I'm talking to you, middle east*
  5. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Jan 23, 2008 -> 04:05 PM) LOL, it's about a couple centimeters tall. I should have said: I wouldn't know...I measure in inches, not centimeters
  6. QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ Jan 23, 2008 -> 04:14 PM) Well, shrinking down to a few centimeters was probably necessary for this species to survive a planet without (available) water, oxygen and average temperatures well below -30 degrees. hehehe. See, a reasonable explaination... keep the hope alive!
  7. It was only a matter of time... I hate these people.
  8. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Jan 23, 2008 -> 04:05 PM) LOL, it's about a couple centimeters tall. shhhh! that's spoils it
  9. QUOTE(Buehrle>Wood @ Jan 23, 2008 -> 04:03 PM) Roughly where is it on there? off to the extreme left. about a third the way up.
  10. QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Jan 23, 2008 -> 03:14 PM) Do you have a link to the actual picture? http://photojournal.jpl.nasa.gov/jpeg/PIA10214.jpg it's rather large.
  11. QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Jan 23, 2008 -> 12:51 PM) if any life exists on Mars, I believe it is in the miniscule/microbe level, not a random creature running around the martian desert. It is an interesting picture that UFO-ologists are going to go crazy over, but it doesnt look like that much to me pee wee?
  12. QUOTE(iamshack @ Jan 22, 2008 -> 11:55 PM) I thought it was an absolutely awesome movie until the last 20 minutes. I despise cheesy endings like that. Cool movie, some awesome scenes, and Ben Foster's character I thought was particularly underrated, but I guess it was alright for a renter... Ben Foster needs another trick. We get it, you can act REALLY crazy with tremendous gay undertones. I suppose that's a nice change for him going from "Get Over It" to "Top Dawg" or whatever that Justin Timberlake movie was.
  13. this image is pulled from a larger one on NASA's website.

  15. QUOTE(Texsox @ Jan 23, 2008 -> 12:06 PM) What are "places PA has never visited?" Correct! Choose another category. I have, actually...but still funny
  16. Blue Ball, PA Middlesex, PA Bird-In-Hand, PA and my favorite: Intercourse, PA
  17. QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Jan 23, 2008 -> 01:22 AM) Ok most of those cars you listed are absolute garbage. Definitely stay away from the Lancer and Mazda. If you want a Scion, I personally like the tC if anything. Other cars you should look into are Mitsubishi Galant, Toyota Corolla/Camry, and Honda Accord. All of those should be in your price range and better cars than the 5 you listed. where do you get that about Mazda's they are consistently great cars that keep their value.
  18. Were he and Michele Williams still together?
  19. HFS... that's horrible.
  20. Dude.... Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer was ROBBED

  23. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Jan 21, 2008 -> 06:44 PM) I wouldn't plan on renting long-term, but if you expect a house you buy tomorrow to lose 10-20% of its value this year, then that's even more money being thrown away. I think that's a harsh generalization. It depends a lot upon the regional markets and what you're buying. I would say this is true with large, new homes more universally than older homes in established neighborhoods.
  24. QUOTE(FoxySoxGirl @ Jan 21, 2008 -> 06:41 PM) I unfortunately can't comment on the movie too much because I had to leave about 20 min. in due to motion sickness. I handled blair witch just fine but this movie was out of control. A few others left just after me as well. In other words, you would have been eaten by the monster
  25. QUOTE(shipps @ Jan 21, 2008 -> 05:02 PM) Iam compulsive about staying and watching the garage door close.Even after its closed I watch it for a minute or so to make sure it doesnt go back up.Iam so habitual with it I still wonder throughout the day if I closed it or not. I do that with my car alarm...I need to actively hit the button until I hear the *beep* multiple times to make sure it's REALLY locked
