  1. Sports I'm all in favor, as long as sports give up their grossly misproportioned funding to balance out the economic prestige. let's face it: sports = $$$ and arts = creativity/brains. get over it.
  2. AP: Sexual misconduct plagues US schools good lord I can't even post the article.
  3. I'm voting for a president that cares about pollution and climate change. what the hell is global warming?
  4. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Oct 16, 2007 -> 01:09 PM) that chick is HOT
  5. JD ends up with Kim. That's the only way the show can work out. I just hope they get all the episodes written before the strike.
  6. QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Oct 20, 2007 -> 12:42 PM) lol this is sad, if he was gay the reader should be able to make that assumption based off the books not have the author tell you. Why didn't Ian McKlellen get picked as Dumbledore then? it certainly explains some awkward gay moments between Harry and Dumbledore.... Those two now have the NAMBLA stamp of approval...
  7. QUOTE(Soxy @ Oct 20, 2007 -> 12:31 PM) I believe for baby rats it actually it protocol to use sheers to sacrifice them. For Jim and Jim, it's shaving them first.....
  8. QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ Oct 20, 2007 -> 11:31 AM) Well, I care that people are closing their children off from the world for stupid reasons (or no reason at all). But your point is well taken. Truly these are not people to be taken seriously. or who cares that a fictional character is gay but yours was right too.
  9. QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ Oct 20, 2007 -> 11:06 AM) So... how long until some of the groups who forbade their children from reading these books (i.e. the Christian Brothers, who said it promoted sorcery) come out and say "See?! It was evil!!!!!!" I just finished the final book on Friday as it happens. Good stuff. ZZZzzzzz who cares.
  10. I have a league with a couple spots... PM me if you want to join.
  11. QUOTE(Controlled Chaos @ Oct 18, 2007 -> 09:56 AM) It's like Man of the Year. But this time it's with a culturally relevant actor/comedian who is actually funny.
  12. did someone photoshop hair on Dennis?!?!?
  13. QUOTE(Texsox @ Oct 15, 2007 -> 07:30 PM) Linked http://www.cnn.com/POLITICS/ What a bunch of b.s. Meet the Candidates for the Dems Obama and Clinton for the GOP? Hunter and Brownback. If that aint a clear example of bias, I don't know what is. Two top Dems and two also rans for the Reps. it's probably because CNN didn't have pictures of the other GOP candidates of them looking like someone tightly holding their scrotums....
  14. QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Oct 16, 2007 -> 12:27 AM) I paid more attention to the ladies than Halo. But Smash is awesome, too. Really, I gave up videogames when Rare got bought by Microsoft, but damn if I don't still read all the magazines just because. why do I get the feeling that your mother dressed you up in a suit every day of your life...
  15. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Oct 15, 2007 -> 12:33 PM) If you just want to bulk up then cardio is only going to hurt your efforts. and if you want to die at age 40. neat.
  16. why would anyone want to minimize cardio?
  17. QUOTE(Brian @ Oct 14, 2007 -> 08:06 PM) Netflix question. I may sign up and for anyone who uses the service, it says 1 disc at a time option, if I rent a season of a TV series, does that mean I will just get Disc 1 and won't get disc 2 until I return Disc 1? one dvd at a time. so yes, you'll have to wait for disc 2
  18. How cute...a good ol' fashion cane fight between Jim and Jim
  19. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Oct 13, 2007 -> 04:06 PM) So what happens when the blind dog finds the broken clock? it gathers no moss...from all the peeing he'll do on it.
  20. QUOTE(Texsox @ Oct 13, 2007 -> 03:37 PM) Even a blind dog finds an bone once in a while and a broken clock is right twice a day...
  21. from back in August...but I dont think this has been posted. (ew.com)
  22. QUOTE(kapkomet @ Oct 13, 2007 -> 11:53 AM) Pennsylvania is just ... strange. Every time I go back there for something, it's just not a nice place (people-wise). It's beautiful (especially this time of year) from a nature's standpoint. my thoughts exactly. Try being a banker here. Angry people, who don't appreciate a thing...except philly sports...but even then they only appreciate it when they're winning. I live up on a mountain now and it's awesome. 100 ft tall trees all around and the colors are amazing. Yesterday I caught a woodpecker on my camera as it was pecking it's way through our deck railing. but yeah, strange is right.
