But the poor grades he brought home on his report card Monday led his parents to warn him to focus on school. RIP yeah, that's right down the road from me.... very sad.

The Problem with Illegal Immigration raids.
Two questions are raised one in the article and one by rex: what happens to the children? what happens to a company that "doesn't condone" a practice that has a 40% saturation rate in it's work force. no, silly, the kids can't work in their parents place... fine the company whatever it takes to ensure the children either are shipped home to the native countries or if the children can provide documentation that they're citizens, then they can stay and parents can apply for temporary work permits after they have background checks.

Microchipped populace in a generation?
QUOTE(Texsox @ Dec 12, 2006 -> 11:39 PM) I was trying to quote your assburning chip is this guy's territory. The comment I was thinking would have to be deleted because it may be a personal attack. So I edited it. Ahhh s***, maybe it wasn't that funny after all. I see. I got banned for a similar joke once

Microchipped populace in a generation?

Dammit, I fell for a scam
QUOTE(Texsox @ Dec 12, 2006 -> 11:34 PM) Thank you. I think that would be worth the $$ for the peace of mind. The only drawback is that you'll have to contact the credit agencies before you make any new credit lines... i.e. house, car, credit card, maybe cell phone services.

Devil Food Turning Kids into Homosexuals
Oh I can't wait to show this to miss PA. (she's smoke any of you on this subject) Talking to people about Nutrition is like doing a google search on the subject. There's a ton of responses and most of them are s***. Ultimately, it's nearly impossible to find "the right answer" and no one listens to him or her anyway.

Car Loan Questions
What Balta is getting at is these companies need YOU and not the other way around. Tell them the names of the other Honda dealers in town and say "I know what car I want and I know what other dealers are going to give me, give me your best price"

Holocaust Conference
For better or for worse.... The U.S. is the best place in the world because we don't convict people for asking questions...even if they're the perceived stupidest questions ever asked.

Climbers Feared Dead
QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ Dec 12, 2006 -> 04:05 PM) In a snow cave, water is no problem. The water may not be clean, but it would take many days before that took effect anyway (Giardiasis and its cousins have a 7-10 day gestation period). Well Tex, somehow, we again ended up with our own thread about the outdoors. any of you been to the Appalachians?
