QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Dec 12, 2006 -> 10:16 AM) and goes to organizations I see at work everyday. What organizations go to your work everyday?
  2. Maybe we should get rid of guns (except our military, of course silly) and outlaw religion in public places while we're at it. What else can we do to ensure the apocalypse by 2050? Perhaps burn books? Set up internment camps? QUOTE(YASNY @ Dec 12, 2006 -> 10:13 AM) The die is cast though. It's going to happen. It already happens in the form of Debit and Credit Cards....but having no choice but to implant something should NEVER be constitutionally sound.
  3. QUOTE(Texsox @ Dec 12, 2006 -> 09:37 AM) The Republicans around here crack me up. Pussies? Americans? why it seems like just three or four years ago that Bush landed on that aircraft carrier with the giant Mission Accomplished banner behind him. Just to prove I'm not a pussy, I am ready for thousands and thousands of more Americans to die in combat. I want blood everywhere. I believe we should invade every planet if it means that no person on this planet is living under a brutal dictator. Only when every last person who wants harm to the US is killed and lays bloodied in the streets will I say enough have died. Then we need to kill their children, and their children's children. Most Americans understand the difference between a just, necessary war and everything else. Perhaps the lesson to learn here is don't mislead the US public. 90%+ of Americans supported the invasion. It wasn't until the truth started leaking out, until American soldiers stopped upholding the very laws they purported to believe in and want for the Iraqi people that support cratered. Americans are a few steps above the savages that some people here would find endearing. We understand that you can't go to war because someone is using torture on its citizens and then use torture in that war. Some see that as being civilized, some as being pussies. I'll take the higher road. Did we just become pussies because the Dems are taking over? I like the new campaign strategy for '08. whatever, pussy
  4. QUOTE(Texsox @ Dec 12, 2006 -> 09:56 AM) How can you die if you never lived? I spent a week in Queretaro, Mexico, and other parts of Mexico. I've traveled through out the North and South of the U.S. I love exploring the hills around my folks place in Texas. I love exploring the mountains in PA. I may have not climbed a mountain, but for 26 years I have stepped outside my comfort zone and my own backyard enough to know that I am so finite and so insignificant in the world around me. I have no regrets so far, but I also have plans for the future to continue to see the world. I think it's foolish to do things like what those guys did. but that's why I always have the heaviest pack when hiking, because I over prepare. These stories of people dying in the wilderness are because we think we dominate everything we encounter. I guess I just have much more respect for the wild. I know I should never try climbing a mountain.
  5. QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ Dec 12, 2006 -> 09:37 AM) Because it was like white noise? A steady hiss of silly action sequences and eye candy with no involving subject matter? It was an interesting movie to say the least, and I'm generally not a fan of one time viewing movies = permanent opinion on the film (though I save that opinion for crap movies like Intolerable Cruelty and Million Dollar Baby). I think there are way too many factors going into watching a movie. tiredness, hungriness, people around you, mad at your job, mad at your wife, mad at your kids, mad at your dog, etc. I have frequently disliked movies because of one or more of those factors and then liked the movie after a second, more focused and enjoyable viewing experience. The environment is almost as important as film itself. side note: I hate people like my roommate who LOVE movies like "Annapolis" or "Stealth" but don't understand films like "Downfall" or "Rock School" amatuers.
  6. Interesting there hasn't been any news recently... perhaps this douche nozzle college student realized he had no case?
  7. Link Another reason I don't test fate and climb, jump out of things, etc. If I die in a car accident, then it's tragic. If I die on a snowy mountain, it's stupidity. for them to be found

  12. I guess I should stipulate that I only have a cell phone, so the number hasn't been whored out over the years. I only get calls from people that have some relevancy to my life
  13. QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Dec 12, 2006 -> 07:20 AM) Hey, the Bay City Rollers had some decent songs. Saturday Night may have been overplayed, but if that thing never became a MONSTER hit, it would be an underground classic. The "high brow" crowd hated them for the money they made, and the pants. and it provided us with the gayest dancing peanut commercial in history...
  14. QUOTE(BobDylan @ Dec 12, 2006 -> 02:22 AM) Imogen Heap sucks, IMO and she was better under Frou Frou, though Frou Frou was HORRIBLE, so I guess I mean to say the only good song I thought that Imogen Heap was ever apart of is Let Go. you're crazy. You may not like her style, but she can sing.
