  1. QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Dec 10, 2006 -> 10:17 PM) WTF Mate?
  2. QUOTE(Buehrle>Wood @ Dec 10, 2006 -> 06:33 PM) Yeah I just did this. I'm playing, on my 7th day of the trial, up to level 6. I'm so confused on this game. The learning curb is way too steep(Even for me who thinks WarCraft III is the best gam ever created). It's learning "curve"... and it's best if you have someone who's played to help you though. I agree, it takes some time. Once you realize how big the world is and how far you can roam it's fun. The battlegrounds really kick butt too.
  3. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Dec 10, 2006 -> 03:45 PM) ok, so I borrowed WoW from a friend and i will be trying to play it for the next several days. Anyone play this and have hints? expect alliance players to be douche nozzles. but there are more of them, so that helps with quests. If this is your first time, I'd play like a rogue, hunter, or paladin. Dont be afraid to spend time leveling, that'll help you get through quests quicker in the long run. Join Hellscream server and I'll give you some gear to make things easier. I'd be a dwarf or a human, because elf quests are lame. pick a mining as one of your professions, because you can sell ore and bars for $$ make sure you log out in an inn, that'll help you get "rested" xp, which means you'll level twice as fast. otherwise, have fun and don't be afraid to ask for help in game.
  4. QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Dec 10, 2006 -> 10:52 AM) This was the number one item on both my kids lists. My video game system expertise peaked right around the days of Intellivision, so I'm out of my realm. Any insights from folks more up to speed would be helpful. They are 7 and almost 9 years old, and they do have a PS2 console system. Santa will NOT be dropping a huge wad of cash on any next generation console systems, but he may relent and leave one or two of these if the reviews are favorable. Are there a good number of games for that age range between the DS games and the legacy gameboy Advance games? Is the wi-fi plug and play? I already have a IEEE 802.11 network at home so are these things good to go out of the box? If they each get their own unit (ouch!), would they also need to have duplicate game cards to play wirelessly against one another or can the machines read card data from each other? How rugged are they? Any other thoughts? Many thanks . . . slackers! How do you expect your children to take the next step in evolution if they can't have a damn PS3? some scientist YOU are.
  5. QUOTE(YASNY @ Dec 10, 2006 -> 09:23 AM) There's no such thing as dinosaurs. They're not in the bible, so they didn't exist. whatever happened to using green?
  6. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Dec 9, 2006 -> 08:56 PM) So down here ATM it's really eerie. We've had bushfired east of the state about 150 miles east of where I live, yet when you go outside, it's so smoky, you can't see the sun, and it's reminding me of being back in China with all of the pollution and everything. Oh and PA, this is my Guitar (so beat that I say); nice gay colors on the neck
  7. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Dec 9, 2006 -> 04:51 PM) Laverne is just way too obvious, she doesn't play a major role on the show, I don't think she's ever had her own storyline and the actress who plays her has a couple other projects going on right now. I agree. the most obvious to me is that since the show has more or less been about the characters slowly moving up and on in their careers, Dr Kelso will die and Dr Cox becomes the Chief of Medicine and JD becomes the "head honcho" chief resident and I'm sure there's a great episode in there where JD and Dr Cox become what the least expected (Cox is like Kelso and JD is like Cox) I don't care how predictable this show gets, I still love it to death.
  8. QUOTE(BobDylan @ Dec 9, 2006 -> 03:32 PM) Well, you're wrong. You just can't put DRM protected music from the ipod store onto the Zune. (Who downloads that crap anyway?) Though, if you're a Mac owner, a Zune won't work with your computer. that's probably what he meant.
  9. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Dec 9, 2006 -> 01:15 PM) Exactly, thats plain weird IMO, and I would totally have killed all of those people. so if someone on Soxtalk died that you respected you wouldn't spend time on the board talking with friends about the life of that person and do anything to honor your online friend that in all other regards you wouldn't be able to do in person, i.e. at a funeral? I mean it is a little weird, but I'm just saying... RPGers are odd people to begin with, maybe it's their way to cope. That being said, I would have killed people too
  10. QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Dec 9, 2006 -> 11:57 AM) OK, you can lend me the gear and you can be roadie. Forget it...I'm starting a rival band called "The Day I Stepped on FlaxseedJim"
  11. www.zipzoomfly.com free shipping makes it worth the price.
  12. QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Dec 9, 2006 -> 10:47 AM) I don't know, can you? I think I need you and Gleason to audition. Well, for two years I played professionally with this: and on this with board more or less like this: and this: through this: and this: Which doesn't prove anything other than I had cool gear to make up for my hack playing skills. FWIW, i was known to play these as well:
  13. Got my mp3 player back...at no cost other than one way shipping (5 bucks) Now I get to spend the next 48 hours updating playlists.
  14. level 52 paladin. woot! Hey Greg, any word on "the Burning Crusade" beta test?
  15. QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Dec 9, 2006 -> 08:43 AM) I don't want to be a Solid Gold Dancer anymore. Now I want to form a rock and roll band called "Perry Helion and the Three-Million Mile Wobbles." Sort of in the Bill Haley and the Comets vein I guess. Not too geeky, right? Just. . . geeky enough? can I play bass?
  16. whatever happened to the other two bakers on the box of cinnamon toast crunch???
  17. QUOTE(SnB @ Dec 8, 2006 -> 09:42 PM) so's your face. great episode
  18. QUOTE(BobDylan @ Dec 8, 2006 -> 06:22 PM) You finished in last 'cause I voted for you. Sorry. your vote was appreciated. but your celebrity endorsement didn't quite help
  19. QUOTE(BobDylan @ Dec 8, 2006 -> 05:21 PM) They now believe the third shot was the actual shooter. They're saying the third ambulance to leave was the shooter. Reported that a fourth has been shot now. did they forget to take the gun from him when the put him in the ambulence? ahem... sorry.
  20. Talk about self-fulfilling prophecy. Everyone wanted this election to turn to s*** and guess what.... Pathetic.
  21. I just had two experiences with losing my way because of google maps blowing goats. They definitely give you roundabout directions. new christmas gift on my wish list.... GPS.
  22. QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ Dec 8, 2006 -> 03:34 PM) O RLY? apparently you can't read then. This was a primary with no real election.
  23. QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ Dec 8, 2006 -> 03:18 PM) Gregory = President. Votes prove it. It proves nothing. The real election never happened.
