Jim never got enough appreciation from the fans in my eyes. The record will show him as one of the great DH's in team history , right there with Icons Frank Thomas and Harold Baines. When you get outplayed in every area of the game, you look like you've quit. The hunger, the things that make you rise above your inadequacies, is whats not there. Is it me, or did this start turning when Anderson & Fields left the team? Their ability to fill in gave some players rest and, the Getz injury has been underplayed. His value is now clearly evident.

I think we are over achieving-Getz has been better than we thought, we put a kid out of college at third and he's doing well, who thought Pods would be on the team let alone hit around .300, we didnt know how Quentin would come back, we got what we expected from Floyd, and Danks and a better year from Buehrle-we thought Contreras would stink and we'd have no 5 th starter, so I think we have slightly overachieved

I love AJ-he has that "edge" that so few players in this town have. Doesnt try to be "loveable" and would do anything to help you win. I hope he finishes here-then stays on as a coach
