I hope it will be Ozzie. Few players wont like to be managed by him (Frank Thomas). He has been saying a dozen of times that he will get on the players' face and i think Frank and few players would hate that. I read that Gaston is a manager like JM, calm and never explode. I'm sick of manager like that with this team. IMO, we need a manager that will say to his players that if you dont do the little things to win the ballgame like bunts, sac fly, hit to the opposite field etc. and not the manager that will leave his players to do what they want.

He was more productive than Maggs just one year. Dont forget what he did in 2000, 2001, 2002 and this year. Lee had just a break out year, maybe he will struggle next year. Maggs puts this numbers all season since 2000. No one's numbers are for sure, I was just saying if you are going to rebuild, like what had been broughten up, then you would want to go with CLee. Obviously Magglio is the better player, no question. If Maggs would agree on changing his contract would be awesome, but it's a dream. I love Maggs, he is the best player in the team IMO. But if the team cant allow him, trade him but for great player and proven players, and not prospects.

I read this on the Gammons´ article: "With a number of teams looking to pare payroll, the Red Sox could take Curt Schilling, Matt Mantei and Junior Spivey from the Diamondbacks. Or they could possibly take on contracts from teams such as Houston, St. Louis or the White Sox." If the Red Sox want to pay 50% of his salary i would trade Ramirez for Maggs.
