OH NO a 2 game losing streak Now they are only 10 games ahead of Durham
-
It sure felt colder than that.
-
It won't cost us against them We could sit both and play Gload at 1st base and we would still have more offense then them. Buehrle was dealing yesterday, but then again he was pitching to a pretty sorry offense. To bad Charlie Haeger couldn't have made his Major Leauge debut yesterday

I know I was laughing when I saw Perez try to bunt for a hit to end yesterday's game

QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ May 19, 2006 -> 04:23 PM) As bad as Brian Anderson has been at the plate, I'm sure as hell glad the Sox didn't fork over Ray Liotta and Sean Tracey (or something similar) for Juan Pierre... Hey he did get the 1st hit of the game. Even though it only went about 10 feet The cub fans by me really got all excited when Pierre scored, but they were pretty quiet the rest of the game -
QUOTE(AWhiteSoxinNJ @ May 19, 2006 -> 07:03 PM) He sure did s*** himself every time Pods was on base. I don't know if they showed it on TV or not, but after Pods stole 2nd in the 6th Maddux turned around and it looked like he said something. I told my wife he better not be b****ing about a stolen base with a 6-1 Sox lead, This is not the National League! Maybe he knew with his team that a 6-1 lead was pretty much going to hold up

Knights 15 game road winning streak over
Jim Spencer replied to Jim Spencer's topic in FutureSox Board
My son saw Sean Tracey before the game and called him over to us. When Sean came over my son asked him where Josh Fields was. I think Sean thought my boy wanted his autograph He told my boy that Josh would be out soon. We did get Josh to sign a picture we took in Toledo. -
Tom Gorzelanny pitch 8 scoreless for the Indians in a 1-0 Knights loss. The Knights only managed 3 hits The game only lasted 2 hours 4 minutes. We got rained on twice. I did get a chance to talk to Ryan Sweeney and he said he should be ready to play when the Knights get back home. My 8 year old son talked to Charlie Haeger and told him he saw him on TV pitching for the Sox. Charlie said, " I didn't do so well." He said he was sent back as soon as the game was over. My boy got a ball throw to him from Casey Rogowski and a couple of innings later Arnie Munoz gave him another.
