not looking good for Knights
5-2 Mudhens in the 10th Jeff Farnsworth gave up a 3 run HR in the 10th Josh wasn't in the starting line-up due to a bruised thumb. The Knights just lost 5-2. Season over.

not looking good for Knights
I'm not sure why Josh didn't start, but he just pinch-hit for Rogowski and they intentionally walked him to load the bases With Crede's back problem, I guess I jumped the gun Bobby Smith justed doubled in 2 runs, game tied 2-2

not looking good for Knights
The Knights are behind 2-0 in the 7th. Lance Broadway pitched 6 innings, 11 SO . Augustin Montero is pitching now. The Knights are down in the series 2 games to 1 and could be out after tonight. Josh Fields is not in the line-up. Could he be on his way up?????????????????????

9/1 Games
They start Sept. 6th. and their chances are not that good now. But what's more important, the Sox playoff race or the Knights?????????

8-29 Knights win and...............
The Knights won 4-3 AND Jerry Owens was in the line-up I'm not sure how he could play if the Sox called him up and placed him on the 15 day DL. AND Dustin Hermanson pitched the 8th inning. Charlie Haeger got the win 14-6 and Casey Rogowski hit a 2 run HR. Oh yeah, Boone got his 11th save.
-
8/28 games
I saw the Knights twice this year and Ryan played Right once and was on the DL the other time. I have listened to many games and he seems to be a desent CF.

Knights can clinch tonight
He hurt his leg a couple of games ago. He's not on the DL though. Jerry Owens is also hurting. With the Playoffs a couple of weeks away and Call-Ups coming up, It's not looking good for a Govenor's Cup. Plus the Knights have been playing Sub .500 since the All-Star break ( 17-24).

Knights can clinch tonight
Indianapolis beat Durham so................................The Knights are Southern Division Champs The Knights lost the 1st game of their Doubleheader and are tied in the 2nd game, not that it matters
-
Knights can clinch tonight
Bobby Smith broke up the NO-Hitter in the 5th not the 6th, but they're still loosing 6-0. Sean Tracey lasted 2 2/3 innings Durham is winning so far too, so the Knights are going to have to win the night cap.

Knights can clinch tonight
I'm not sure when they last won a division title, but they last won the Governor's Cup in 1999 as a Wild-Card team. Right now the Knights are being NO-HIT in the 6th, 6-0

Game thread Sox(73-50) at Detroit(79-45)
The Tigers are going to be tougher with Neffie Let's get them Jose

Knights can clinch tonight
The Knights play 2 tonight against Norfolk. All they need is to win one or have Durham lose to Indianapolis and they are Southern Divison Champs Sean Tracey 8-7 is pitching the opener.
-
8/18 Games
I guess he injured his leg. He wasn't in the line-up tonight. The Knights magic number is/was of last night 3 to clinch a playoff spot

Stewart, Owens Likely Callups in Sept.
Gustavo Molina just got moved up. He's shown a little more power than Stewart, but he's batting like .229 in AA.

Ozzie Manuel
I didn't mind Ozzie leaving him in to face 1 more batter, but after the walk to load the bases I was surprised he left him in. With all of the games we have without a day off, maybe Ozzie was trying to save the bullpen Here's a picture I took tonight after Ozzie left Mark in. I call it the "Deciding Moment"

Minor League Baseball to set another attandance record
I love Minor League baseball I go see Charlotte about twice a year. My kids love the fact that the players are approachable. My boy has talked to Charlie Haeger, Josh Fields, Ryan Sweeney, Casey Rogowski, Brian Anderson, Joe Borchard and Ross Gload. Also at the Minor league parks there is usually no bad seats.

Me too Let's go Mark

redding another chance
I saw him pitch in Indianapolis in May. He lost 1-0 and he was in trouble (10 hits, 1 BB) alot. He didn't appear to throw very hard (maybe upper 80s).

Submit your Questions for John Sickels
Heads, I have a question for Josh Fields if it hasn't been asked. If given a choice, would you rather have your September Call-Up or play in the International League Playoffs?
