  1. He hasn't played LF yet. I think he would be playing LF if KW had him replacing Pods next year. Jerry Owens has been playing LF and Ryan Sweeney has been seeing alot of time in CF lately Maybe Ryan should see some time in LF, but then again who would be our lead-off hitter?
  2. Centerfielder Ryan Sweeney 3-4, 5 RBIs Heath Phillips 9-2 1.80ERA Knights have a 16 game lead over the Bulls now
  3. I told a Scrub fan at work yesterday that it would sure be nice to see them win 2 out of 3. And of course he said " They were going to Sweep the Tigers" :headshake Right now I'd be happy if they could win 1 game :headshake

  8. You know last year when Buehrle hit him in the head that seemed to work. Not that I'm suggesting that
  9. The amazing thing about that catch was the amount of ground he covered to get to the ball. If Mack was in CF last night that would have been a 2 run triple.
  10. Knights win 8-5. Redding 8 innings, 5 R, 4ER. He's now 6-5. He seems to get alot of run support. Ryan Sweeney played CF and made his 1st error of the season (fielding error). He went 1-4. Josh Fields went 2-4 with a double and 4 RBIs. Jerry Owens 3-5. Javey Lopez save #10 his ERA is 0.59
  11. They also released Tim Hummel.
  12. Jon is going to take us back to 1st If not, Sean Tracey is going to see some action.
  13. QUOTE(JimH @ Jun 7, 2006 -> 09:46 PM) Ryan Sweeney 3-5 tonite in the Charlotte win. He's up to .317 now. He's getting very close to being major league ready, this guy can hit and he's very calm at the plate. He can hit, but I'm still wondering when were going to see the power.
  14. Charlie's now 7-0 5 innings 2 runs, 1 earned, 5 SO and 5 BB. His ERA shot up to 1.03 Knights won 4-3. Tim Hummel with a 3 run HR. Javey Lopez got his 9th save. His ERA is 0.61
  15. I've been voting, but we've got alot to do if we are going to get any Sox in the starting line-up. I'd rather not see an all Red Sox - Yankee All Star game
  16. I guess he's not ready Only Torcato hit one off of Lima. Knights win again 6-5 They are now 40-15 Tim Redding gets the win, He's 5-5. Boone Logan pitched 2 scoreless Ryan Sweeney went 3-5.
  17. The Knights win 7-3 they are now 39-15 and have an 11 1/2 lead over Durham. Stephen Randolph is now 5-0, 6 innings 2 runs, 1 ER, 5 SO. His ERA is now 2.83. Rueben Rivera went 3-4 with a HR and 3 RBIs. Josh Fields 2-4 with a double and a Triple. Casey Rogowski 2-4 with an RBI his team leading 34th. Paulio Reynoso walked the bases loaded in the 9th. He was angry with the home plate ump. Tim Redding and Razor Shines got thrown out in the 9th. Jeff Farnsworth saved his 11th out of 11 save opportunities. Tomorrow a couple of veterans go: Tim Redding vs Jose Lima
  18. I bet you made his day as much as he made your day.
  19. At least Ross can lay down a sacrifice bunt unlike Uribe
  20. The worst defensive outfielder in Sox History, IMO was Brian Daubach Ross is a very good 1st baseman, when he gets some At-bats he's a very good hitter, but he's not a very good outfielder
  21. The Knights are winning 5-1 top of the 3rd. Triple for Fields so far and Rogs steals his 15th base Stephen Randolph is pitching he's 4-0 for the season.
  22. Hey, Jeff Nelson did a fine job tonight
  23. Heath Phillips improved to 6-2 with a 3-2 win over the Knights. 7 innings, 2 ER, 7 Strike-outs and 2 pick offs. Jeff Farnsworth save #10. Tim Hummel 2-3 with 2 RBIs. Knights now 38-15 ( I was wrong on my last post when I said 36-15 )
  24. Time to vote for your favorite AAA player. The fan vote counts for 1/3, media gets 1/3, and Managers and GM get 1/3. You even get to vote for starting pitchers and relievers http://www.minorleaguebaseball.com/app/mil...2006/ballot.jsp I voted for Jamie Burke at 1st base in the Pacific Leauge
