Yeah. I don't think Danman speaks for even most of us. Nobody here likes this team. It's impossible to like. There's nothing worth following sans the Starters and even that's iffy because for the most part we know what the results will be. I understand why people wouldn't want to go to games (I don't have the money to spend on this team -- if I did, I'd still go, but I haven't gone to as many games as in the past and I probably won't go to too many for the rest of the year, either, but I will see a few later in the summer for sure). I think it's time to look forward for the future, but it's hard to get FURIOUS with the White Sox. I'm upset with Williams, the players and the scouts, but I don't hate anyone, and definitely not the Chicago White Sox.

I think it's safe to say the contract agreement was bogus. I think it's really strange that "BUEHRLE AGREES TO CONTRACT EXTENSION...MAYBE!" on WSI is reported before, say, "Buehrle Traded For _______"

And what Soriano normally does is obnoxious. Unfortunately, none of our pitchers can make it hurt.

Yeah, seriously. Ozzie's done the best he could with this team. He's done a good job with the starters and he's handled Danks very, very well. Everything else has been crap because that's what he's been given. What? I question this organization's coaching and GMing and ownership all the time. I don't really take issue with Ozzie this season because there isn't a damn thing he can do and he's got a good track record and I like him. Get off that bulls*** about Ozzie this year. Like it's somehow his fault that everybody sucks. "He should handle his personnel and get them winning!" GMAFB.

I'm conflicted. This team is terrible and there's no way to blame Ozzie for it. But in this instance, it might've been best to have a hit and run. On the other hand, Podsednik+Gonzalez are such incapable ballplayers that that might've been a hit-and-run. Gonzalez did hit it to the right hand side, after all.

What a bad choice.

But the Red Sox are SO GOOD at giving up the farm in trade proposals that I'd love to have our way with them ala the Marlins.

I'd prefer to deal with Atlanta.
