If Macdougal would have done what Linebrink is doing this year, which is what KW thought he was getting, last year would have been much better. Nice having the offense produce for a few days to rest up the bullpen horses. KW has done a nice job, lets keep it going and stay healthy. I think anyone predicting Crede/Contreras coming back this strong would be crazy, and even KW would probably admit that many players are exceeding his expectations for this year...but that is baseball.

who cares about comparing we are in first and getting it done...enjoy it. I know most people here thought were were going to be out of it by June 1 during spring training.

Oh I also partied at the NBA Draft party at a club in NY with Carmello, Kurt Hinrich, etc. (it was a pre NBA draft party with a modeling agency) a pretty awesome night. We had a corporate party in the same club was an interesting mix once the corporates and the NBA player/model party merged.

You know how you solve this....call the tribune cancel your subscription when they ask why tell them they have an idiot sports reporter named Rosenbloom (unfortunately so does the Suntimes)...enough people bail on the paper because of one guy and Zell will have him fired. the current 12 game stretch against winning teams (angels, cleveland (6 games), rays) will be huge we come out of this anywhere near 9-3 or 8-4 with a 4-5 game lead on the division we will be in a good position at the 1/3rd mark then we just need to take care of business against teams we should beat, and do well in interleague against Pirates/Cubs.

Things fell apart last year when MacDougal/Aardsma forgot how to throw strikes. I recall the Sox/Cubs game at Wrigley where Buerhle held the Cubs to one run, came out and MacDougal gave up >4 runs...after that things went downhill fast. That being said last year was last year and a much different team...lets keep winning and get up on this division by 5+ games.
