haha I actually did this to one of my friends a few months ago. The reason I did it was so he would get really annoyed at all the solicitors calling his house. The funniest part about that is it's 3 months later and he still gets calls everyday...

Sears is overpriced for electronics to begin with. I just bought a Samsung 650 (52") last week and they really have done a good job with the pricing year round. I paid the same amount of money for the LCD than I did for the DLP 2 years ago. What are you looking for exactly? You have so many options with TVs it's ridiculous...

yeah that was a bit of an exageration knightni, you didn't mention Alexei or Quentin and the moves aren't over until after spring training where Crede, Uribe, etc... can all be gone.

Why hate this deal? This is what they should be doing, spending the money (that I help contribute) to fill holes and get depth. I would understand hating this deal if we sent out some young talent (or any talent for that matter), but it's hard to hate it without knowing how much they even offered. This isn't to say that I'm a fan of Bartolo Colon, but I'm not a believer in Floyd or Danks so the more pitchers to compete the better.

thanks guys. As you can see I've been reading this site for almost 2 years, I don't post much because over the computer I tend to sound very confrontational. Didn't really want to rub anyone the wrong way so I silently disagreed with everything said here . I was in a sim league with a bunch of guys from here (I think it was DPBL), none of which probably remember me...it's all good though, I'll get around to posting more if lil one allows me to get on the computer. I said he was good, I just don't agree with the assessment that he was as good as Jones in his prime. I would have to see BA do that consistantly for more than the 1 year evaluation I have of him. You guys may have seen him more or know something I don't, it's just my opinion and there's a reason I don't get paid for it...

He was good but I don't remember watching the best CF in the history of the game, I do remember BA missing the cut off man a few times and costing us the game.
