I don’t disagree that they were looking for other QB upgrades, I think they looked to maybe get Wilson, Watson, Stafford, Etc. But ultimately fell short or refusal on the other side to move the player. I think they unfortunately had to settle for Dalton, since theoretically is an upgrade over Foles. I don’t think anyone anticipated Fields falling to 10, giving them a chance to get him.

Yes 15+ years ago, great memories. This years team is not good on the road and is average/below average against over .500 teams. Just tempering expectations.

If we have to face Houston and they have HF, this is going to be a short playoff push.

The issues is they are NOT committing to a rebuild. For some asinine reason they think they can contend with no offensive line, mostly old players on defense, and bloated contracts given to poor performers (Quin, Graham, Foles, ETC). Even if Fields turns into a elite QB we will be struggling to field a competent team around him for the next 2-3 years since we have no depth due to lack of past draft picks and future picks.

I would have liked Kimbrel to have a clean inning and secure the save, but hey what do I know.
